Spicetify install error fixes 2023 | Access denied, unable to connect etc

Didn't work for me. Is it the latest version of spotify or something else? At the last step when you have to say yes to install spicetify marketplace I got error: `cannot detect Spotify location`.

Open Powershell as admin.
Run these commands:
"Spicetify backup apply"
"Spicetify upgrage"
"Spicetify restore backup"
"Spicetify apply"

Nice! Yes that seems to be a more common issue with the latest releases of Spicetify. It will hopefully be resolved somehow in the future.

it says to me " You are using Spotify Windows Store version, which is only partly supported." and i made sure 1000000 times that i had deleted the microsoft store one and downloaded the directly one :( , any solutions ?

That's really strange. Are you sure that the windows store version is completly uninstalled? As in you have removed it from the list shown in the Microsoft settings?

No, the commands iwr and iex are just abbreviations of Invoke-WebRequest and Invoke-Expression. For some reason iwr/iex might not work with PowerShell but the full command does. So just simply replace them in the command line.
