This was such a great featurette on the 2 disc Special edition of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. Even as I got older and I discovered I wanted to do Theater and acting..... discovering the history behind all these great stories and how ideas are come together. Amazing lineup of celebrities. RIP David Odgen Stiers and Angela Lansbury. Of course, continue to get well and healthy Celine Dion.

I never would've guessed that the voice of the Beast was narrating the Jungle Book! He narrated very well. And I'm glad he mentioned Disney's story writer, Bill Peet. He helped writing story's like 101 Dalmatians, Cinderella and Dumbo. He was even an Author and wrote stories for young readers like The Elephant and The Ant and Chester the Worldly Pig. Disney has a number of great Song Writers, Actors and Animators, but as far as I know, Bill Peet was Disney's one and only best known story writer. It is true, Bill Peet was staying true to Kipling's story but Walt Disney and Bill Peet just had different taste to the story so Bill Peet quit and continued his storybook career. What I loved about Bill Peet was he was not just a story writer for movies but he even did his own books. I hope Disney at least kept something Bill Peet wrote in his version of the story.
In fact, I'd even have been okay with Belle's relationships with Clarice in the Disney Version and with Bella's relationships her sisters in the Don Bluth Version.

This is one of my favorite featurettes on disc 2 of Beauty and the Beast. I loved watching this when I was little.
In the case of books, the point is not how many of them you can get through, but rather how many can get through to you.
Mulan to her father; How would you know? You've never even recovered from your previous battles!
In fact, I'd even have been okay with Belle's relationships with Clarice in the Disney Version and with Bella's relationships her sisters in the Don Bluth Version.
