"Grandshaykh also told me another important point. It is about the importance of dhikr, the importance of remembrance of Allah. “He said to me, once, ‘O, Nazim Effendi! All ranks, or spiritual levels, that a man may reach in this life and the next life will be reached by remembrance of Allah with dhikr, Dhikr means to be with Allah Almighty always; in all situations all the time. So many people are saying, “Allah! Allah!” but when they are acting they are not with their Lord; only their tongues. Understand? It is not important to say, “Allah!” IT is important to remember, always, that He is with you. When you are looking, He is with you. When you are walking, He is with you. When you are sitting, He is with you. When you are speaking, He is with you. When you are thinking, when you are eating, when you are sleeping, He is with you. He is not going to leave you. This is dhikr! ’ ”

Three years ago, played this Zikr at 3 a.m in the morning. I was suffering from fever. I was drenched in perspiration. I smelt fragrance around me. I got up and tried so if some one has broken a perfume bottle.

Proof from Al-Quran shows Allah loves a person to get intact & join with those who remember Him (zikr).
[Surah Al-Kahf , Verse 28]:
"And endure thy self in the company of those who call upon their Lord in the morning and evening seeking His and let not thine eyes countenance rove from them seeking the adornment of the life of this world, and obey thou not him whose heart We have made to neglect Our remembrance, and who followeth his lust, and whose affair is exceeding the bound. "

both hadiths are talking about dikr and remembering Allah, and the verse you showed from the quran also talks about remembering Allah, and I can show you thousands of verses and hadiths about the benefits of Dikr remembering allah, but the problem here, is Dikr and remembering allah the way the prophet taught us or the way these people do it? Thats the question Im asking.
And if is the way these people do it, we need a proof that their way is allowed by Allah. And the only one who can say if its allowed or not is the prophet.
But if we are creating new ways of remembering Allah then what's the difference between us and the Christians and Jews?
Allah got angry at them just because they created new ways of worshipping and didn't follow their prophets.
Our prophet taught us how to do Dikr and how to remember Allah, we dont need new ways, we only need to follow him.
And Allah said remember Allah the way he taught you to.
Or is the way that the prophet taught us not enough?

They follow a rhythm like a song, and dance, it looks like a club, in a religious way, non religious people sing and dance in a club, and religious people sing and dance with the name of Allah, its the same atmosphere, in my opinion I think singing and dancing with the name of Allah is very disrespectful to the name of Allah.
Yes we should remember Allah, and yes we should do dikr, and maybe loud, but we should respect his name and not dance and sing with it, dont you agree?

(7) Seventh hadith sahih (Muslim in his Sahih and Tirmidhi):
Al-Agharr Abu Muslim narrated that he bears witness, from Abu Hurayrah and Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri, that they bore witness, from Rasulillah (saaws) that he said:
“There is no group of people that remembers Allah (SWT), except that the angels encompass them, mercy covers them, and tranquility descends upon them; and Allah (SWT) makes mention of them before those who are with Him.”

assalamu 'alaykum. muslims, life is simple. we are created to worship Allahu ta'ala. salat is one of the ways to wprship Him, but so is dhikr. That is in in the Qur'an. Would you rather busy yourself watching a TV show or a football game than saying la ilaha illa Allah? this is no brainer. if you want to do dhikr, swim in it!!! the only bid'a that you should e wary of is not glorifying Allahu ta'ala. may we all be pleasing to Allahu ta'ala and help each other become beautiful muslims. amin.

(9) Does Islam totally forbids dancing at all in dhikr? Here is the hadith sahih:
Narration of Ahmad in his Musnad, and al-Maqdisi with sound narrators from the hadith of Anas that said: “Once, the Abyssinians were dancing in front Rasulullah, saying in their language: ‘Muhammad is a righteous servant.’He said: “What are they saying?” It was said: “[They are saying] Muhammad is a righteous servant.” When he saw them in that state, he did not censure them. Rather, he approved of their act.

(5)From Muawiyah ra. that Rasulullah asked in a group of meeting:
"What this gathering for?" They replied: "We gathered to do dhikr for Allah's guidance and hidayah" Then he asked: "Is it true that all of you gathered just for this?" They replied: "Yes, we had this gathering nothing more than dhikr to remember Him, Rasulullah". He said: "I came here not to correct you, but want to inform you: Jibrail told me good news that Allah had sent angels down to join dhikr with you all in this meeting"

i give you two scenarios, which one is preferred in sight of ALLAH S.WT:
(A) Human gathering for music concerts,
OR,
(B) Human gathering for remembrance of Allah and our greatest Prophet Muhammad s.a.w (takbir, tasbih, tahmid, tahlil, salawat, etc)
Which one of scenarios above you think Allah and Prophet Muhammad would accept/choose as the best?

@mrshadyman1: Thanks for the feedback. Can u proof to me with Quranic Verse or Hadith Sahih that tells doing Dhikr in group with loud voice is haram? Here, I brought first hadith sahih regarding this matter.
(1) Sahih Muslim
Book 4, Hadith Number 1211:
Ibn ‘Abbas reported: Dhikr in a loud voice after obligatory prayers was (a common practice) during the lifetime of the Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) ; and when I heard that I came to knew that they (the people) had finished the prayer.
(8) Hadith sahih on body movement during dhikr:
"If Allah was mentioned, they (companions of Rasulullah) swayed (likes) the way trees sway on a windy day, then their eyes would pour out tears until by Allah,they soaked their clothes.”

brothers no point arguing with these cursed najdis because they will never accept what you say as they are ignorant. we were warned about them by our prophet salalho alayhe wasalam in many sahih hadiths that clearly point to them as these najdi sect was created only 300 years ago. 1 question there are sunni syeds and shia syed but there are never wahabi syeds why?

Ibn Majah, and Bayhaqi narrated from Abu Hurayra (Allah be pleased with him) that Rasulullah (peace be upon him) said,
“Allah says, ‘I am as My servant thinks of Me, and I am with him when he makes remembrance (dhikr) of Me. If he makes remembrance of Me to himself, I make remembrance of him to Myself. If he makes remembrance of Me in a gathering, I make remembrance of him in a gathering better than it."

(the freed slave of Ibn ‘Abbas) Ibn ‘Abbas told me, “In the lifetime of the Prophet it was the custom to celebrate Allah’s praises aloud after the compulsory congregational prayers.” Ibn ‘Abbas further said, “When I heard the Dhikr, I would learn that the compulsory congregational prayer had ended.”

Firstly, not all bida'ah are haram according to syara'. In fact, there is one hadith telling that Prophet Muhammad s.a.w was not give bad response and so happy when he noticed a group muslim doing zikir for Allah and salawat for him.
But there is one hadith, Prophet Muhammad s.a.w was not happy when he saw a group of muslim spent a lot of their time doing gathering to discuss "halal and haram matters" most of the time.
I will bring hadith sahih for this anyway

كثير من الصوفية اليوم شذوا وانحرفوا بسبب الجهل وبسبب الاسرائيليات المدسوسة في الكتب. والوهابية منحرفين كذلك. التصوف بريء من الحلول وعقيدة الوحدة المطلقة. التصوف علم وعمل. فما اتخذ الله وليا جاهلا أمثال هذا ناظم القبرصي ومريده هشام قباني وأتباعهم الجهال والمنحرفين.

حديث القدسي الأول الذي ورد في صحيح البخاري، فقد قال رسول صلى الله عليه وسلم:
((إن لله ملائكة يطوفون في الطرق يلتمسون أهل الذكر، فإذا وجدوا قوما يذكرون الله تنادوا: هلمُّوا إلى حاجتكم ـ أي وجدوا بغيتهم ـ قال: فيحفونهم بأجنحتهم إلى السماء الدنيا، قال: فيسألهم ربهم، وهو أعلم منهم، ما يقول عبادي؟ قال: تقول: يسبحونك ويكبرونك ويحمدونك ويمجدونك، قال: فيقول: هل رأوني؟ قال: فيقولون: لا والله ما رأوك، قال: فيقول: وكيف لو رأوني؟ قال: يقولون: لو رأوك كانوا أشد لك عبادة، وأشد لك تمجيداً، وأكثر لك تسبيحاً، قال: يقول: فما يسألونني؟ قال: يسألونك الجنة، قال: يقول: وهل رأوها؟ قال: يقولون: لا والله يا رب ما رأوها، قال: يقول: فكيف لو أنهم رأوها؟ قال: يقولون: لو أنهم رأوها كانوا أشد عليها حرصاً، وأشد لها طلبا ً، وأعظم فيها رغبة، قال: فمم يتعوذون؟ قال: يقولون: من النار، قال: يقول: وهل رأوها؟ قال: يقولون: لا والله يا رب ما رأوها، قال: يقول: فكيف لو رأوها؟ قال: يقولون: لو رأوها كانوا أشد منها فراراً، وأشد لها مخافة، قال: فيقول: فأشهدكم أني قد غفرت لهم، قال: يقول ملك من الملائكة: فيهم فلان ليس منهم، إنما جاء لحاجة، قال: هم الجلساء لا يشقى بهم جليسهم))
نعرفه واجتمعنا مع تلاميذه وقرأنا كتبه فوجدنا أنه ليس من الصوفية الحقة بل من زنادقة التصوف. ناظم القبرصي يدعي أن المسلم والكافر سواء عند الله. ويدعي أن من يقرأ "ءامن الرسول" الآية يبلغ درجة لم يصلها نبي ولا ولي. ويدعي أن الله يحلّ فيه وفي تلاميذه وهذا كفر شنيع.
