Rusy absolutely blew me away. I sorta expected what we got from Inkie but I somehow didn't see Rusy's round coming.
That little beatbox technical bit he did after the first drop was such a nice touch. Glad he reminded us loopstation is beatbox looping with that one. Go Rusy yeah!

It was difficult to listen to for 70% of it

I think you absolutely nailed the explanation, exactly what I was thinking. Rusy is always surprising me with those drops and there's something really satisfying about seeing the track progress and develop, which is something Inkie lacks. And like you said, at the end of the day it is a battle and Rusy was here to get a W, where it felt like Inkie was just releasing a track. Most importantly though, the enjoyable aspect was greater for Rusy. So to me, Rusy wins easy, but respect to Inkie for always pushing the boundaries, maybe we just haven't caught up with him yet, he is ahead of his time
So Rusy should win just because he made a track for battle?😂

Personal opinion:
If there was a stronger bass in the last drop, this will be the best track ever from Rusy
I would like Rusy to win, hoping his fanbase overpowers that of Inkie. Really close, I think if Rusy’s second drop was closer to his first round in terms of innovation, he’d have it easy. Loved the track regardless. Inkie’s round will probably grown on me like his round 1 did.
INSANE BATTLE
That Inkie track actually blew my mind. Took me by no surprise, but his sound design is just second to none. The style reminded me of a more club-oriented Drab Majesty track with that ghostly melody over the driving baseline and that kick…dude that kick is like a punch in the chest. Maybe it impacted me so much because I listened to it really loud on some top shelf ADAM studio monitors, but regardless, Inkie smashed this one in my opinion 🤯
Not completely sure, but I believe Inkie is using software called Loopy Pro, which is a mobile app. Again, I could be wrong, but I know he's used it in the past (I think he used it vs KBA in this tournament), and Mr Esuoh also used it in his gbb23 wildcard.

He sold all of his gear when he moved out of Russia so every track he makes now is with Loopy Pro.
I am really torn when it comes to rusys recent routines. The sound design is crazy, maybe best in the world, but I feel like it’s becoming more about having two crazy drops than making a song. What he brings is crazy but there isn’t a lot of flesh in between. Still an absolute monster though
Completely agree, it's almost as if he is forgetting that tracks need to be enjoyable as a whole and not just crazy with sound design or drops

I truly love Rusy and I get that he hits heavier. But Inkie's production is just on another level
Rusy's 2nd drop let him down and didn't pack as much of a punch as I expected, but Inkie's track felt complete. The only issue with Inkie's was the autotune was pitchy at times. For me Inkie's production edges it but wouldn't be surprised if Rusy takes it
