- Here are the 5 shinies I found in the Hoenn Safari Zone on Ruby and Sapphire for Safari Week this year, including my target, Girafarig, the 10% Natu, the 10% Wobbuffet, and Oddish! Did I maintain a perfect catch record like I did last year? Find out!
I'm so amazed at how many people participated in Safari Week this year. It's been so cool seeing what people managed to find and seeing participation from around the world! I have a lot of catching up to do on the videos that were posted throughout the week!

Eh I honestly couldn't complain. The week before I lost it I got a full odds shiny tentacruel. Wasnt hunting for either of them, just ran into them while looking for a 1% wailord for the tentacool and I ran into the girafarig while going further back to get a heracross

Great video! I was eagerly awaiting this. Very tragic about the girafarig. I actually had the same experience with how many balls it popped out of on my birthday stream. It must’ve been 10 or 15 throws. Crazy beast!

That was an intense start on your safari week Matt with that Girafarig :o It reminded me of YourFriedBread's (Brendan) Girafarig capture when he got it on the last ball and I thought the same would happen to you, but sadly it didn't and she escaped :/ Still, it was a fun and enjoyable safari compilation to watch with great targets found and the suspense during the captures didn't let us down (maybe on oddish because on how easy it was to capture them). Hope you can reclaim your missing targets on next year's safari week specially Girafarig since she left her mark on this year's event. Good luck ;)

Just watching you attempt to catch that Girafarig genuinely felt so stressful! I feel like I lost 10 years off my life from how much I felt that panic! I’ve only ever gotten one shiny in the safari zone before and it was a Paras that stayed for 6 turns before I somehow caught it.
So hyped to fully watch this when my internet comes back. Congrats on all of these Matt! I only found one during SW (my first ever SW Shiny, ended up being quite busy though) and failed it lol.

I broke a DS Lite because I couldn't catch a normal Girafarig when I was young, but I give you all of my respect for not breaking your GBA SP over a shiny one.
I feel you, I snapped my ds lite in half by throwing it at my wall because I couldn’t catch rayquaza is Pokémon emerald. Crazy that that event was almost 15 years ago.
Plot twist, in an alternate universe, absol said “lets catch this thing” without correcting himself, and he caught it
GDQ was epic this year, the all forts race in SMB3 was my favorite
that girafarig was very patient compared to every other pokemon i've seen.
I was looking for something to watch while I grinded to beat Cynthia in Platinum. I instead found my first shiny about 30 seconds into the video so thank you for the luck!

Girafarig was my target in Hoenn safari zone as well. I found 2 of those, both in Emerald and the first one stayed for 15 turns and the second one fled at the 3rd turn. I think I'm going to try to reclaim it in a future hunt

I have a lv 100 gauntlet idea for you (it’s not my original idea but I thought it was a good one though) do a cross generational lv 100 gauntlet where you start in gen 1 and level up 14 ish levels every generation, you can use porygon and evolve it every other generation ending in gen 7. I feel like that would be cool and would be fun to do

A cross generational gauntlet is definitely something I've been thinking out for a little while. Wanna make sure I make the best of it so I'm gonna do a lot of planning for it!!
