For example devoting a day of all star weekend to a short 1v1 tournament between players could be very entertaining to watch and be something fresh to at least try for one season. Deciding how to create a player pool would be a challenge, but I would personally love to see it happen

Also this means that for a guy like Vuc, he will use up $26 mil of the exception no matter what contracts you give out. Edit: They may actually have to get rid of some contracts if they make certain trades, for Vucevic for example, to avoid the hard cap. Roughly 4 mil for the Vucevic trade, which they would likely make up anyway by adding players that the magic would want to actually accept the trade.
Lowry going back home to Philly at the tail end of his career would be nice. He can always go back and play for Toronto his final year or do the 1 day contract.
