i listened to this for 5 minutes and read all the comments. I didn't think I would cry. I sat in my chair and just closed my eyes and asked god to just help me with my anxiety and my overthinking/fears. I started to cry so much and im still listening. This is so powerful. My senses reeled to think that I was listening to the Lord's Prayer. My senses screamed aloud to me, "This man is repenting for his sins!", but I heard them not. The minor key, the urgency the shame in his voice is heard in every note! Just tonight after a 2:00 a.m. awakening after which I could not get back to sleep, calls me in Jesus' own voice to repent of my own sins. Господи Иисусе Христе, сыне Божий, помилуй меня!

I am a Catholic man from Bombay, India. I deeply adore this rendition of The Psalm, because it is sung in Aramaic. In one of the other channels I subscribed to, I listened to The Lord's Prayer in Aramaic. The first time I heard it, it was incredibly beautiful and mesmerising to hear, so much so that my eyes became moist for quite a while. I wonder what the feeling must have been to recite it in the very language our Lord spoke to the Apostles.

@UnCuckable Celt, just to let you know, this Byzantine chant has been sung in the last 2000 in the Orthodox Christian Churches of the World, especially where there are Patriachates (Georgia/Aramaic, Greece, Romania, Egypt and All of Alexandria, Jerusalem, Syria, Ukraine, Lebanon, Russia, and more). There are even Orthodox churches and at least 2 Orthodox monasteries in Ireland now. You can go visit any of them and you will here some version of this Byzantine chant in the language of their Patriarchate or of the country. You will be truly moved. 🙏💕☦️🕊

Those who meditate (yoga and some other far eastern practices) are in connenction with their own ego and not in inner dialog with Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen. ♥️

The music and the language speaks to the soul and spirit, down to the deepest in the heart...a feeling of GOD is with us every time I listen to it. I'm a Catholic but I've never heard something like this in our church...surely GOD our FATHER is always present...never failed tears to fall from my eyes. GOD forgive us...Peace to everyone.
@Nelson Ballecer, you can hear these types of chants in any Orthodox Christian Church anywhere in the world. They're either sung in the native tongue of their Patriarchate or of their country. The Byzantine chant is almost the same no matter where you go or what language in which it's sung. We've had this tradition for 2000 years since the beginning of the Orthodox Christian Church. As mentioned by someone else, Roman Catholics practiced this with us pre-schism. However, many things have changed in the Roman Catholic Church since the Great Schism which is why there are very few connections left. 🙏💕☦️🕊
