We are coast guard and stationed in PR 2018-2020. I was sooo glad we decided to wait until we left to get pregnant. I have heard so many horror stories from wives who gave birth in PR.
I would definitely look into a hospital tour if you can, Plan ahead, if you don’t speak Spanish have an interpreter (they do have English speaking staff, however my experiences only one nurse a shift was available and they didn’t know much English) Talk to registration ahead of time, even if you have insurance to pay out of pocket cost at before hand. Just definitely take the time to talk to you care team (if you are lucky enough to get one there) and hospital.
Loved the insight you brought to this topic! Great video
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it 🥰

I should have took the same advice but we grew stronger as a family. I hope you and your family had a easy labor and delivery process
Sorry you had a horrible experience. We were just considering having our baby in Puerto Rico. 😢
