As an Empath I couldn't stand listening to the news any longer. The energy was too heavy on my body and had a very negative impact on me. I stopped watching any T.V. three years ago. It has helped me tremendously!

Likewise, I don't even have TV since 2019 by choice. The covid pandemic, the decline of society's morality & rampant violence made me realize the toxicity of mainstream media. I became a lot happier & balanced.

“You become a rescuer even when people don’t ask for it.” This and SO many other of your comments ring SO true for me. I am so utterly thankful for Anita’s wisdom, which is transforming my thoughts and my life.

OMG-what a breakthrough! No wonder the world is so messed up--Empaths don't take on leadership roles--they are in nature....We NEED to show up! THANK YOU for the validation, information, tools and love. Thank you Anita

Hi Anita. I work with the School of Applied Functional Medicine and the School teaches practitioners to look at the whole person. They ask the individual about their whole life. The practitioner creates a map of the persons various areas of life to find the source of the issue then help find ways to eliminate the source. It’s amazing and wonderful to hear the stories of practitioners finally helping people instead of bandaids and drugs. Thank you for your work!!

I stopped watching television in 2006. I Don’t miss it. I’m not being drained any longer by t.v. I stopped because it became too painful (with the emphasis on fear). I notice if patients have T.V. on, I feel drained. Thank you, Anita for your message. When I look at my past, my chronic disease started at points of stress when I was disrespected, yelled at, when I over extended myself. My top priority was pleasing others, helping others feel better. I do feel tired, drained, when I treat people in nursing homes in an environment in which I am paid too low.

This message was totally for me! Im always in situations like on stage, leading groups, sorting others out and I have always since I was a kid, been chosen to represent others
I have thought that all the feelings and pains were mine!
But most of my pains were not mine at all

Thank you so much. Being an empath i was desperately looking for help as i was getting sicker , stuck, homebound. Every word resonated so much and i see light at the end of the tunnel. My heart-felt gratitude.

we were taught to seek our “purpose” and many took it to mean at any cost to the expense of others. we must be mindful of seeking our “purpose”it can be the detriment of ourselves and others as Anita found out taking on too much after her near death experience. some very interesting ways of looking at what an empath is and how we fit in.

Thank you so much for posting this interview! So many of my questions are answered here.
I read about Anita in Wayne Dyer book many years ago but I didn't pay much attention to it. Recently I was looking for consolation about my dad's cancer and one evening I instinctively pulled out Wayne's book from my bookcase, opened it randomly and read: it was the page where he talked about Anita. Then I researched on TH-cam and found this video (and Anita's channel).
I am a vet and I left my work cause I had lots of fatigue. Also I feel since a long time that there is so much more to healing than what mainstream medicine is considering.
I would love to work in a sanctuary rather than in a clinic 😉

I am highly sensitive. I learned about the term empath in my readings. Now, I joined groups on Facebook on empaths. My sister called ym crazy and told me why do you have to absorb other people's emotions? Why are you so sensitive? Now, I know I'm the strongest one in the family. I chose to live alone. Learned yoga and meditation. Personal development. And I continue to make myself better everyday. Though I literally get sick when I'm stressed, so I need to quit my job and retire early.

Amazing... I have no words to describe how I feel (well, I have but too many 😅). I can relate with that way of feeling and I just wanted to thank you to explain how to live and work with that energy without losing it. Also the new perspective, something that I see as a weakness and now totally different. Thanks for the new 'glasses' 🤓😊❤️

If you are an empath, all pain is yours, it's mirrored in your mind. Your job now is more and more self love, more and more self responsibility, even a healthy ego with boundaries, until you break the empathy mechanism and become free of your mind completely. Literally the worst thing you can do for yourself is blaming all your pain on others and not beginning to start owning that everything that you think and feel in your mind is yours. You awakened your divine femine whatever, now awaken your divine masculine, take full self accountability for your emotions, and start dissolving this aspect of mind. What you are seeing is really your own hate and pain and anger at the world, getting triggered and mirroring what you see outside you.

So apparently the long held belief that power and might competition, and the idea that their is not enough need to change. Power and greed and the the results of fear and the survival paradigm. No matter how much we have embraced this idea it has not worked to the extent of creating a world of emphatic beings. Their is enough for everyone, but society has been at the helm of telling us otherwise. I know because I am an empath.
