I'm building a cruzer... I would just like to point out that the engine cowling looks like it has 2 GIGANTIC nostrils.. I will either modify it or make my own. That I guarantee you

The cowl depends on your engine choice, that's the cowl that is supplied for the UL power, the Jab' is different again. What engine are you planning on?

NarraRick since mine will eventually have straight floats, I need all the power I can get so it's also going to be the 130hp UL 350is, however I have 2-3 years of scratch building before I order the engine, maybe by then I'll see if it's possible to use the UL 350 @ 150hp... Its only 2 kg more.
The jaribu cowling is very nice looking. But the look of the cowl is secondary to engine choice. It might set me back one month to make my own cowl mold but it will be totally worth it in the end! I'd probably get enquiries from 650 and stol owners! Lol
All the same fwf kits :-)

Very nice mate. I'm about to purchase the CH 650 kit, I'm thinking of the quick build, I'd love the UL power 350 but all depends on money when it comes time to purchase the engine otherwise I'll be going the 120hp jab'. But I myself like the look of the "2 GIGANTIC nostrils" :} CheersRick

You could effect the overall performance and engine cooling if you reduce the inlet size. Might be a negative. I wouldn’t mess with them. Zenith and UL worked hard on getting the right inlet size.

"Music" soon gets tiresome. Silence better.
