I have Bull-it SR6 jeans £150 which didn't have armour in them but have fitted alponstars armour they're pretty. I wear a rst blade 2 leather which is top quality. The really good thing I have is a RST leather belt attachment which you run a belt through the jeans belt loops and the attachment. The attachment has a zip on it to zip the jacket to the jeans which keeps the jeans up and stops the jacket rising in a crash and stops the wind getting up the back of your jacket. Good value at under £15.

Hi mate, went for a little ride this morning as it is dry, (ish) for once, could not believe the amount of riders with no protection, not even gloves, hope they take notice of your video.

Cheers Mike, yea it's absolutely crazy!! I often see skinny jeans, canvas shoes and no gloves on the regular. All the budget went on the bike but not the gear! 🤦🏼‍♂️

I went full silly with Alpinestars Missle gear....and it has it's ups and downs....durring summer I was baking, during winter I was trembling more than a siezing engine :))....... But I fell once and it didn't even scratch the leather..... That said wearing IXS body armour I fell at 70 km/h and i had just some scratches on my back from the backplate digging in, other than that nothing.... gear should be a must even at low speeds, seen my fair share of friends with dislocated ankles and broken collar bones at bicycle speeds because they used sneakers and t-shirts.... I feel naked and unconfortable if I'm not dressed like a turtle.

I totally agree, if I was to ride with no gear I would absolutely feel like I'm naked! I've been seeing far too many young riders in a coat, skinny jeans and canvas trainers that it's seriously worrying. Gear isn't always super expensive and even the lowest form is better than nothing!
