Let’s discuss hypocrisy. Wendy has NEVER had the position that folks should spill their own tea or business. In some cases, she’s said the exact opposite. She’s just said that SHE’S going to talk about it. Hypocrisy would be her throwing a hissy fit when ppl do the same thing to her as she does to other ppl. She does not do that nor has she ever. Whenever she’s blasted in media about something she says on the show, she has never retaliated or claimed hurt feelings. Most of the time, she doesn’t address it at all or addresses it with class, just like the Howard Stern thing.
And ppl got such a kick out of Howard Stern disrespecting Wendy for a pretty mild comment, when he’s made his living doing the exact same thing she does. But he’s a man so it’s okay. Desus and Mero do the same thing Wendy does on Hot Topics. They discuss current events in pop culture and give commentary. No issues with them either, but Wendy is demonized. The misogyny is unreal.
