    I’m getting ahead of the curve and installing wood paneling to all my walls. I’m assuming this trend will come back eventually.

    No orbital sander here. I will be sanding by hand with 220 grit. Then it will be time for vacuuming.
    BTW, this is the project I asked about during the happy hour with Leah. Took a bit of doing, but I removed those wall shelves. Now I am in the midst of wall repairs.

    I'd recommend removing clothes before sanding the mud. Even with a vac on the sander it still makes a mess.

    Good video, but why wouldn't you drill the big old holes and run the wiring before you painted?

    • @BYOTools
      @BYOTools  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The beauty of a content creator means you don’t have a great deal of time to do the project and video edit it every week. Had to get the the first coat on as soon as possible so it could dry and then apply a second coat once it dries.

    correct me if i’m wrong but if the next owner wants to take off the slats will it rip off the drywall(due to the glue used to adhere the boards)?
    Trying to make a slat in my room 4 in apart and thinking about using molly screws to hold when not able to drill into a stud. any other recommendations to attach?

  • @SupremeGrace18

    Did you start the 12 inch measure starting from the door trim outwards for slats?

    • @BYOTools
      @BYOTools  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I actually started from the left where the wall 90’s and then worked my way to the door. Worked out perfectly.
