Ta sztafeta to jakaś masakra. Maciuszek i Szymańczak biegły szybszą techniką łyżwową a i tak Kowalczyk była od nich szybsza. Wielkie rozczarowanie biorąc pod uwagę wyniki Polek na tych mistrzostwach w biegu łączonym. Może gdyby organizowano Mistrzostwa Europy w biegach narciarskich a największe potęgi (Norwegia, Szwecja, Finlandia i Rosja) wystawiały jakieś złomowe składy. To może Polki miały by medal.
If Poland had had four Justynas they would have won easily. Justyna gained 30 sec. on Therese Johaug! To be fair, it looked like Therese's grip wax was crap, but still...
not with Justyna's freestyle ability they wouldn't have haha also, it's easy to look back now and say "wow she pulled in so much time on probably the greatest distance skier of all time!" but back in 2013 Johaug was just another (very talented) up and coming star. she was not the dominant (with the notable exception of Marit...) force she would become a year or two later.
Sorry Ianism, but you are wrong. 1)In 2013 Therese Johaug was 25 and was already a big star. I think it is safe to say that Therese became a star at the Oslo Championships in 2011 when she won the gold medal in 30 km skate race. Johaug had one problem - Marit Bjørgen was still on the team, so she had to be the Norwegian No.2. 2)At the time Justyna Kowalczyk's freestyle was still quite good. She was not technically good, but she had "a big engine". If Justyna's freestyle had been that bad she would not have won the FIS Cross-Country World Cup four times. The crisis came in 2014 when her problems with legs (as far as I remember mainly tibias) became very apparent. Contrary to popular belief during her heyday Justyna was also quite successful in the freestyle. If you don't believe watch Kowalczyk performance (30 km F) at the World Ski Championships 2009 in Liberec. She killed everyone on the last kilometers. Kowalczyk's first Olympic medal also came in the freestyle.
@@iansteelmatheson Johaug not a star at that point? What are you smoking? She won the 10km just a few days earlier. Kowalczyk took 37 seconds from her in this race, in a 5km. I don't think you understand the enormity of this performance.

Gdyby Justyna biegła wszystkie zmiany wynik był by lepszy
Gdybyśmy mieli 4 zawodniczki na poziomie Justyny z lat 2009-2014, nasza sztafeta mogła by walczyć z Norweżkami o złote medale.
