As an elementary school teacher I will 100% vouch for the fruit candy order of importance. Kids go straight for the nerds, then sour patch kids, then Skittles, then starburst. Speaking from several years of student candy bribery experience.
From my experience, adults typically prefer Skittles and sour patch kids.
It makes sense that nerds won Rhett and Link's hearts, seeing how it's the candy for kids. They are children at heart after all.

For gummy bears and worms and those types of candy, they have a stamp that presses into corn starch which is filled with the GOO and is let to set and then they separate the gummy from the corn starch and re-use the leftover corn starch for another mold. It's a cheaper way of mass production without having to have a million molds that they have to clean. Thus, you are tasting a layer of corn starch before your saliva gets all down to the fruity parts.
Airheads are my favorite candy so this was brutal. IT DOESNT TASTE LIKE A CANDLE RHETT.

I love Zak Bagans and crew so much!! I have watched many of their "Ghost Adventures" episodes!! ❤️ Zak even had a TV series that was filmed and based on his haunted museum there!! It was such a good TV series and you learn about stuff at his museum as well. I thought that was SOOOOOOOOO COOL to see Zak's billboard for his museum in the outro video!! ❤️
