Lamar had a Lamar game. Him getting 300-350 yards by any means had been the norm for years. What really stood out to me was the beatdown the ravens defense gave the lions. I haven’t seen a team get their soul taken like that in a while. Goff was scared of contact, the receivers got alligator arms when they heard footsteps, the running backs didn’t want the ball. It truly felt like a throwback to ray and suggs time. I don’t see how anyone beats them in January if their defense is this legit.

Even though they're 5-1, they've barely scored more points than the Broncos this year. Ravens are the far superior team, they just have a habit of choking against the worst teams, otherwise they'd be 7-0 easily. Also the Ravens D is one of 3 teams with less than 100 total points allowed this season, and the other 2 have yet to play this week. In other words, it's easily the best in the whole NFL.

I have no doubt Dan Campbell won't have his Boyz fired up on Monday Night Football at home vs the Raiders in front of their crazed fanbase.
One needed a reminder that they can do better, the other needed a reminder that they aren't invincible. A Ravens statement and a Lions humbling reminder was needed. Both teams are still good though.

The notion that Lamar would “tuck-and-run” at the first sign of pressure earlier in his career is a tired and dispelled position IMO.
Since Lamar’s second season, he has absolutely shown the innate instincts to continue looking downfield.
It’s what’s given him longevity and distinguishes him from traditional scramblers.
THANK YOU for saying this. Lamar has literally never been a “tuck and run at the first sign of trouble” player. People used to get mad at him because he wouldn’t. But we conveniently forget that.
