Wants
Prioritize the list
Define the solutions next to each problem
Think about this list in terms of Going Forward
Ask around, feedback of friends and family
Part 2 - Recouping Value
Should you Move or Improve
How much to improve
Don't improve more than neighboring houses
Try not to spend more than 20% above the value of your house
If no one else is improving? don't.
Don't make it to customized (re-sale)
Remember capital gains (keep receipts)
Consider Room Cost / Value
#garage - 30% back
Leisure - 100% back
Bathroom 40% back
Kitchens - 120% back
Create dual use rooms (bed, office, living room)

Is there some other benefit to me doing it

these are great tips , went through some of these questions when I built my garage . Especially the financial value/resale and paying for it stuff.
I think this is a huge help for my Family. Thank you 🙏🏻. This information ℹ️ makes sense.
Great planning video! A must watch!
Ok. Now onward with the process! Interested in seeing the end result.
I needed your video, thank you!!! I'm planning an additon with only myself, the architect and builder/GM so this really helps me brainstorm and checklist things I hadn't considered before..
great video, a lot of great information. can't wait to see the rest of the build.
Dan Malone I know. I’m realizing now my regular viewers probably don’t want to see this kind of video. Sorry guys!!!! I’m trying to do things in order. Bah!! Oops. Don’t worry. Progress update videos will be coming soon.
Love the videos. Have enjoyed them from the first of garage build. My wife and I built our home about 4 years ago. Your videos helped me a lot, just letting me know I could do it myself. It took about a year , but we have the house of our dreams. Thanks a lot for putting your videos out there for us .
Thanks Tommy, Glad they inspired you! That's what this is all about! And good work doing your own work on your house!
Excellent Vid.
This and the thought it provokes will certainly help folks!
That's a lot of information sir thank you very much.
Great video gave me a lot to think about!
I never expected to learn so much from Kylo Ren. Thank you, sir.
Great video, It was a talk I needed to hear. Being single and making home improvements without a partner to discuss addition ideas is a bit scary. Thank you.
Great information.Tks
hey i have found this vidoe that helps alot for my year 11 research proj this is a really good video that helps me with alot of my questions
Find the lumberyard (not big box store) that contractors use. They often have a engineer on staff to size beams or trusses, or have someone they can call in to help you.
So great!
Great video :)
Thank you!
Thank u!
Part 4, I don't have the skillet to build from scratch, HELL NO!! Don't have time. Trial and Error is a killer even on small jobs. I WILL BE watching the contractors when I have time!!!😂❤ 💯👍🆗👌
I'm in NZ and I don't think you can screw up and do it over- builiding cost $2000-$3000 a square meter.
Never effing mind I'm moving This is a lot of bullship
😂😂😂
Build your addition selling your heart for 1M, or your liver for almost 600K, and a single kidney for just less than 300K.
