- On this flight review we will check out Cathay's long haul economy class onboard the sleek A350. Also we will walk around 3 different but beautifully designed business class lounges in HKG (access from to oneworld Sapphire). Overall it was a pleasant experience with Cathay despite being an ultra-long haul route.

Excellent video, and it would have been my 2nd choice from EWR/JFK to MNL first being SQ21 and 918 EWR MNL via SIN. The last option is PR127 JFK-MNL.

I went on cathey Pacifics airline
I flew economy class a month ago and they did served ice cream too. Haagen Daz on the way to HK from EWR and Movenpick ice cream from HK to JFK.
Do they still do HKG-EWR??!!

Great video AsiaTravels! I always find it interesting what airlines offer on such long flights: leaving in the afternoon arriving late at night. Some airlines offer 2 dinners and some 1 dinner and a breakfast..

@@AsiaTravels as you guys know, Cathay Pacific quit its service from HKG to EWR, IAD, DUB, MAD, BCN and LGW.
And they now do HKG-JFK on their A350-1000s
Same with Singapore airlines, who also quit their service from SIN to EWR, and now replace it with SIN-JFK, SQ also quit its service as SIN-MAN-IAD. And SIN-MXP-BCN. They now do SIN-MXP and SIN-BCN
@leonelpereira3438 this is still suspended but SQ restarted their SIN-EWR flight in addition to SQ23/24 JFK-SIN

nah this was from a long time ago so not recent travels.
Economy?! what happened dude? demotion? The J class seats are stellar on this plane.
I fly economy too but there just isnt much to film in economy, (two trays of food and a chair) compared to premium classes .

Hong Kong layover should not be a problem... as long as you stayed in the airport.

Yeap if it is 3-3-3 on a 777 or 2-4-2 on an A330 I wouldn't mind.

if they increase the portions of foods, then the presentation will not look as pretty anymore. Food only looks great in smaller size.
