    I’m in LA. I stumbled into your video in 2022 when I didn’t even know how to draw. 2023 I became a full time artist. A year of hustle. No time for video or anything. I watched this video today. I wish I see you at a coffee shop and chat. Best luck on everything.

      Hi Daili, I’m amazed by your progress in one year. your comment is going to inspire someone else to kickstart their art journey and that’s how we pay it forward :).

    “Success is a feeling, not a number” really stuck with me :) I am a recent graduate who is trying to freelance and sell on Etsy full time and your videos have helped me feel optimistic & realistic.

      The fact that that message resonates with you as a recent grad means you're already way ahead of the curve. Best of luck with your creative journey!

    honestly, the next step for me is to draw, but stay in a creative mindset. my business (the blue collar thing I've mentioned sometimes) refuses to die down in the fall. but I haven't made any serious amount of money in years. every time I get into a creative mindset, a call for more work comes in. you'd be gratified if you really knew how valuable your simple closing comment is to we aspiring creatives. "the next step is what matters most".

    • @EasySundayClub
      @EasySundayClub  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's hard to say no to non creative work that pays the bills but takes up time and energy, I get it! I'm glad you find my closing mantra encouraging. It really comes down to taking baby steps everyday.

    It really does take longer than expected. Video and content creation seem to be a time-sink. Thank you for your assistance throughout the years! You're the one that taught me how to make greeting cards in the beginning! My designs have never caught on, but I think I just need to explore it more.

    • @EasySundayClub

      And thank YOU for supporting our channel through the years. Don't give up on your art practice if it's still nagging at you, sounds like you know what to do :).

      @elysegalloway7609 I've never made a nickel in art, but I'd like to do even better than that, which means I'll be looking to you for encouragement. I've never been anywhere past my drawing board, so you have no choice but to do well, and report it here, to inspire beginners like me. in all sincerity, good luck going forward.

    Really needed to hear this tonight! I was getting caught up with the guilt of not growing my biz as quickly as I wanted to and comparing and feeling like I needed to invest in courses but you're right - everyone is built differently and I will build this at my own pace.

    Thank you so much for sharing this. All of it is exactly what I needed to hear right now. I’m sure I will listen again as this has encouraged me to take what I do and what I can accomplish and work on that rather than the all too easy trap (pit) of the comparison game. Your videos are so helpful in various ways! Thanks again ❤️

    Thanks for sharing your insights. "Real speak" vs "Just do this and you'll be amazed!" as some people portray it. I was about a week or two from pulling the trigger on starting a card business, but "real life" came along and put me in check. In retrospect that was probably a good thing for me as "real life" would have still taken precedence and any business venture I might have started would have suffered if not wholly failed. I still want to start my card business, but just in the right way and time. In that light I'm making contacts, getting opinions, and even providing some free products to a handful of folks to get more exposure. Thanks again for the time you take for us.

    • @EasySundayClub
      @EasySundayClub  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I understand what you mean by “real life” putting us in check. I’ve also had to let other things take priority over my business and this TH-cam channel, which is why the first lesson is very meaningful for me. Sounds like you made the right decision so it’s okay to take longer. Thanks for the comment!

    Thank you for this video. I have learned a lot from the videos and your and your husband have posted. I do know that I enjoy creating more than I enjoy selling my art. However when I make a small run of items like very small run of mugs people by them and I am grateful. Than I am like I need to make more. It is a journey. Anyways thanks again.

    Hello , I have a lot of big brand name greeting cards that I want to sell online but don’t want to spend 4-5 dollars to send a card with tracking. What is the best place to list cards for sale and best method to ship with tracking yet inexpensive.

    This is one of the best videos I've seen in a long time. Love the final point, that it's ok to not grow for a year. Actually, the entire video is great! Yes, I suspect that it's going to be quite a long journey and it's so tempting to hope for some fairytale ride to success.
