Coating prep sprays are primarily either alcohol and/or acetone based, so that is what they smell like. The difference however is that there are MANY different kinds of alcohol; propanol (just one example) is very different than the isopropyl alcohol that you get at Walgreens...IPA should stay in your medicine cabinet and not be used on cars.
There are also different kinds of surfactants and other trade secret additives that are added to interact in a certain way with the coatings they are designed to work with. Any panel prep spray can be used if you're just trying to get off polish residue before applying a wax/sealant. But you should always use the coating prep spray that is designed for use with whatever coating you are using. Coating panel prep can have a big impact on how coatings flash and bond to the surface, don't risk an expensive bottle of coating (and your labor) by using the wrong prep product.
@jeffc6832 see this was some good knowledge. I understand this much better
@@serranosmobilealmost everything I know about detailing (including this) came from either The Rag Company guys or from Yvan LaCroix/Detailer's Business Academy/DIY Detail. Crazy amounts of good info on those TH-cam channels.
very nice
Love the video. And I need to check out the shop
yes
Sounds like you got a bad Contusion in your ankle which by definition is a Bone Bruise. But their also a slight chance you strain some ligaments in that area of contact in your Ankle; if it’s not improved in a week . Get X Rays and have them give you that Walking Boot.
@@davidboyce6427 not the boot 😭😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@serranosmobile But it’s coo Carlos it’s the Walking boot that looks Ike a Ski boot. And your take it off when u go to bed. Feel better Los.
@davidboyce6427 ill request an orange boot lol
@@serranosmobile that be cool as heck😆
As always great information and awesome work. Please keep them videos coming for us weekend warriors. Hope you don’t mind me asking how much you charged for the ceramic coating package?
@juansalinas6446 this package was 1500
Thanks for the video. Have you ever seen Yvan LaCroix method of claying & iron remover at the same time? Saves product & time. For me, if you spend more on chemicals, the less goes into my pocket. I try to use products that work but are economical. Maybe it's time to stop playing soccer?
that's how I clay also, right? lol I need to stop lol, im.justvto fast, and the quickest way to stop me is to swipe my ankles
Hey Carlos, Why do you go for the 1-liter bottles when the 5-liter size is more cost-effective in the long run? Or do you actually buy the larger containers and then transfer the product into smaller bottles?
good question so I buy the 1 litter than transfer to the 16oz bottles. they last me well over a year
First for the first time!! lol
