Always have an updated hard copy in your permit book. Last time I got inspected by Iowa and Nebraska the state troopers took my permit book back to their cars and did their paperwork. they came back with a clean inspection report. I don't play around with the mobile App because the Troopers will not wait for me to bring up the permits Especially when they are taking my book back to their cars.
I don't get flagged for seatbelt violation, I am getting hit for Drowsy Driving by the camera when I am singing with my music. It says please stay awake and you can clearly see in the video that I am singing not YAWNING.
The best thing to do with PC is to remember this, if you think it may not be legal to use it, then it probably is not legal. You can use it to go home after dropping a trailer but the thing with that is if you are dispatched directly from home that is what makes it illegal. In our case we are dispatched from the house. CVSA has asked FMCS for more clarification on use of PC for enforcement purposes and the response they got was request denied. so its best to tread lightly and use it only when necessary just to go park if you are out of hours that what I do and I have no issues.
I saw a lot of basketball shorts and Crocs on the training pad and inside the millennium bldg this morning. I know that’s not out on the road in front of customers and the public but I suspect a lot of these folks are wearing the same sloppy outfits into customers.
Yeah, and how many drivers quit because of the cameras? How many drivers are on their last straw and about to quit because of the cameras? That's a lot of experience out the window.
N if these are mandatory for drivers to attend then put them on a load after the meeting is over
