Shawol/VIP/ic/ikonic/sones 7 nah. it's not about the number of members, it's about camera work itself. watch some taeyeon, tiffany, ailee, hyomin, hyosung stages and compare; the quality of this is 100x better than some music shows (cof cof music core cof cof). Music Bank does a pretty decent job even with 10, 11 members groups, but other can't seem to work even with only one single artist on stage

Believe me, they are making much more money off Tiffany and Taeyeons solo shit.
Notice Korean dancers have a more normal weight for a girl. Thicker legs, curvier body. While Kpop stars are pressured to starve themselves. When Yuri and Hyoyeon put on a few pounds, they looked good, but crazy fans kept calling them fat, so they quickly lost the weight.
There's also special surgery they can get to make them look slimmer too. But Hyoyeon is still pretty thick. Yuri has very straight legs so too much weight makes her look a little sausage like. Which I don't mind but when the other girls (especially yoona) are so much thinner she stands out. Jessica was supposed to be a lead dancer but her anemia made it so she couldn't dance like that all the time. Which I think also attributed to her weight loss. Being a kpop idol is demanding and when she was so exhausted she probably didn't eat when she shouldve or it metabolized a lot faster. That's what happened to Sunny too. Her knee was bothering her so bad it probably killed her appetite and/or she did it to relieve some pressure on it. But then you have poor Yoona that can't gain weight no matter what she does. So then she and Sooyoung kinda set the standard but they can't help it.

항상 들을 때마다 느끼지만 정말 이 노래는 제시카 노래인 것 같다... 톡톡 자몽 같은 상큼한 목소리에 시원한 여름 바다 같은 노래 부르니까 진짜 너무 좋음... 스엠에서 볼수없었던 제시카만의 노래를 볼 수 있어서 개인적으로 너무 좋았음... 결론은 앞으로도 더 활동 많이 해 주고 정수연을 늘 사랑한다는 것 ㅠ

It's so unfortunate that Sica is unable to properly promote or perform on music shows.. They claim it's due to indirect advertisement of her lyrics but even with amendments/changes, she's still not permitted to perform. No matter what other people say, I think it's blatantly obvious that this is some sort of media play on behalf of SM who's manipulating the broadcasting stations behind the scenes. It's hard for broadcasting stations to deny their wishes because they're obviously the biggest talent agency in Korea. Even so, it's so petty of them for not giving Sica a chance. Just because they know themselves that Sica would thrash the other current promoting artists with her amazing solo debut /cough Tiffany who doesn't stand a chance cough/

소녀시대 나간 후에 제시카 기사만 나가도 악플이 엄청나게 나갔는데 그래도 2017년 자기 데뷔 10주년까지 앨범 냈었음. 따지면 1년 반 동안 미니앨범 3개 냈고 근데 앨범퀄은 좋았지만 방송활동이나 연예계 활동이 계속 막히니깐 대중들에게는 잊혀지는 거임, 이건 어쩔수 없음. 지금은 굳이 방송활동 안해도 유튜브나 다른게 많지만 저때만 해도 방송의 힘이 컸음, 유튜브가 지금처럼 영향력이 크지도 않았고 그런상황에서 아무런 홍보도 프로모션도 못하니 당연히 첫번째 앨범만큼 관심이 없어지는 것이 당연한 일임, 노래를 발매하면 뭐함, 대중들이 알이야 듣지, 라디오나 방송에 나와서 홍보를 해야 알지. 그 팬덤큰 JYJ도 방송활동 막히니깐 팬말고는 앨범 냈는지도 모르잖아, 그나마 JYJ는 팬덤이 엄청나니깐 계속 활동하지 여자 솔로가수는 대중성이 제일 중요한데 방송막혀서 못하고 제시카가 JYJ만큼 팬덤이 엄청나지 않으니 어쩔수 없는 거임, 그리고 제시카 기사만 나오면 그때도 욕만 엄청 달렸음 그래도 콘서트 열어주고 팬미팅해주고 지상파에는 못나와도 스트리밍 서버스? 같은거에 계속 얼굴 비추고 그랬음.
그러다 이후에는 계속 싱글로 한번씩 발매하다가 코로나 터지니깐 아무것도 할수없지, 그래도 코로나 전에는 팬미팅이는 콘서트든 일단 오프로 할수있는게 있었지만 코로나 터지고 그것도 못하고 방송은 막혀, 그래서 유튜브 만들고 계속해서 영상올리고 함, 제시카 입장에선 적어도 대면 오프자리를 만들수 있어야 앨범을 낼 상황인데 그마저도 못하니깐 20, 21년은 활동을 할 수 없는 상황. 더욱이 2017년부터 중국 한한령 때문에 중국 방송활동 못함, 뭐 어쩌자는 거임? 그마저 중국, 국내활동도 코로나때문에 못해, 2년동안 얼굴 보여줄수 있는 곳은 유튜브 뿐, 그러다 22년도에 중국 방송사에서 출연제의 왔고

This just proved to me how bad a mistake it was for SM and SNSD to drop her. I'm sorry for bringing them up but watching this, I just had to. Jessica could have raked in MILLIONS for SM. She could have done a LOT for SNSD, like increasing their power in SK. There is just something about Jessica that is completely different from other idols, even though she is doing the pure concept. She made something typical, magical.
SM just needs to chill with working idols to death. I'm sure fans wouldn't mind and they would still make a lot of money.

I think they blocked it because it is somewhat breach of agreement made by both of them i heard that the reason made by jessica for leaving snsd and sm that she would pursue her fashion career and not to debut as a solo artist so i won't wonder why would sm block it and please don't jate me because this is just my opinion. Sm scouted Krystal at first. Jessica was only told by her parents to join instead cuz she was older than Krystal. If Jessica didn't join, Sm wouldn't have Krystal. I guess that's one reason sm kicked her out. Maybe they didn't like her as much. Krystal seems to do just fine and has Kai with her

I've never cried while watching a kpop performance before, but seeing Sica so genuinely happy was too much (plus the fans). And for all the haters out there - this performance IS live, you can clearly hear her vocals at 3:01. Unfortunately, the backing track is too frigging loud, to the point where it completely drowns out her voice :(
