The biggest difference between them is that the CBR has a more aggressive driving position and more "plastics". Since I am more of a naked bikes guy, CB is the way ahah
I owned a 2021 CBR650 for less then 6 months and decide to switch into the CB1000. If you want sport bike wait for the CBR750r or buy a 600cc sport bike. Naked CB650 is better

In my humble opinion, I think you dive to the inside of the corner a bit too soon. Especially in these blind corners. You should stick to the outside a bit longer to get a better vision of the exit. A very fast pace doesn’t allow this but your pace does. Just a simple advice from a fellow rider 😉
@@meloandrefilipe the key is to « draw » the line in your head. Meaning your eyes draw the trajectory. If you do that you’ll be able to counter the natural urge we have to dive to the inside. Urge we have because we look for the exit, we look the furthest possible. If you draw a wider line in your head, the bike will follow. The eyes are the key 😊😉 Sorry it’s difficult to explain with words 😅
It’s out. It all depends, when you cold start the bike, it’s a bit loud, but after she gets warm, it will be ok… other then that the ear plug level is when you start to accelerate the shit out of the bike and shifting up ahaha and that’s when you get the best sound (my opinion) it gets loud very fast
@@meloandrefilipe appreciate it. I plan on trying to get a cbr650r next spring and the first thing I’ll get is an exhaust. Just don’t want the neighbors to call the cops on me. As long as it’s not insanely loud at idle I think it should be fine
@@meloandrefilipe honestly fuck it could always just put the baffle back in. One of my friends has a triumph speed triple that we just put an exhaust on and it’s not that loud until you hit maybe 6-7k rpm’s after that in turns into a different bike. Sounds like an f1 car

I'm not sure what to buy this or the MT-07... i'm not very tall (1.63m) and i'm afraid for the weight of this bike... it's gonna be my very first bike...
This was my very first bike as well, but I'm 1.82m... the good thing on this bike is that it fits almost every height, I don't think you will have a problem with that. Regarding the Mt-07 vs cb650r, well, if you are a guy that is more calm and like somewhat of an adrenaline shot from time to time, cb650r is the way... In the other hand, if you are more like a Hooligan, mt-07 Will be the One. From a value for money point of view, the cb650r is a way better bike, you have better suspension (front and rear), it's a 4 cylinder (probably the last medium CC bike to have it), better breaking, better riding position and overall better quality. I have a friend with a mt-07 and in terms of expenses (maintenance etc) CB Will be cheaper at medium long range, since the maintenance is done each 6k or 12k, your choice... In case of MT-07 if I recall correctly, I think it's each 5k or 10k...

I have a 2017 SV650 with full exhaust, filter, tune. It's a great bike and a lot faster than you would think. Check it out also!
