Elin went into cluster seizures that same afternoon, she needed two doses of rescue medicines, buccal midazolam, at home and ended up going in to hospital by ambulance in the evening.
When in hospital we managed to get the seizures under control using first paraldehyde and then phenobarbital, and once she was out of the clusters she had a very long sleep.
I was able to spend some time with the epilepsi nurse updating Elin's hospital treatment plan, and get a referral for an EEG. I gave Elin some chest physio to help her after having been asleep for so long, and she got an air mattress to prevent bedsores.
I'm a special needs mum vlogger in the UK with two daughters, one of whom is severely disabled. Elin is a girl with quadriplegic cerebral palsy, she has a feeding tube, is a wheelchair user and as she can't use the toilet independently she is in a nappy / diaper.
Apart from cerebral palsy, Elin has complex medical needs and seizure disorder. She has tonic clonic, or grand mal seizures, partial focal seizures and absence seizures. She is on multiple medications every day, for her spastic muscles, for her reflux disorder and for her epilepsy. Elin is on a blended diet, which we give her through her feeding tube, and I share tips, how to and recipes.
On this channel I share our day to day life, our morning, feeding, medication and bedtime routines, feeding techniques, how Elin communicates, etc. I also showcase the relationship between Elin and her sister Alice, and how they play and interact with each other.

It shouldn’t matter if you upset people it matters if your daughter gets the proper gear I have CP as well and I know exactly what you’re talking about. Doctors are just don’t understand and I I will watch every one of your blogs alien is so adorable and she deserves quality care just like anyone else and sometimes I feel these doctors don’t think that because they are the disability

I have an air mattress on my profiling bed. It’s an absolute godsend when I do have to spend quite a bit of time in bed. I hope she is feeling better soon and home soon ❤ 🩷🩷
