One thing that would make Barzal an ideal fit, besides being legit 1C, is how dominant he is at 5-on-5. His numbers, on a bad offensive team, are dominant. At 5-on-5, he's 1st in the league in expected goals at 63.96% , 1st in the league at scoring chances at 64.05%, 8th in goals for at 67.86% and 7th in high danger chances for at 62.58%. That is the kind the kind of 5-on-5 production that the Jets desperately need. And imagine what Barzal could do playing on a team with actual offensive talent. If Chevy claims he's serious about being all in, then he needs to push hard to get Barzal.
Kakko could have helped. Jiricek could have helped. Trouba could have helped. Blackwood could have helped. Carrier could have helped. What is Chevy waiting for??

Thats assuming winnipeg isnt included on him NMC
@ He might be willing to change that given how bad the Isles are.
@@LockedOnJetsNHL i don't see it. Historically, players almost never do that
The audacity to keep saying Utah isn't very good after they played like they did.
