I’m a commanders fan and I love Dan and the Lions, if they win, I’m routing for them in the Super Bowl, if we win I will be in a place I never thought I’d see before death at 33 years old, I had all but given up hope, I’m quite happy with this year win or loss against the Lions, but to win, it’s scary seeing how prepared Dan seems to be looking to be, he’s not taking us lightly at all and when we are doubted we do much better honestly. Sept 2009 - Lions had an unreal losing streak coming in, and Washington came to Detroit for a regular season game. I'm a Washington fan, I still remember that game. Despite that losing streak, the Lions fans were out there in full, supporting their team. The Lions had no quit, Matthew Stafford, Megatron, the whole team, they were playing to win, and that Lions crowd was raucous, rooting their team on. They beat Washington, ending their losing streak, and I was so happy for them, they deserved it. I still remind folks of that, when questioned who has the best fans, it's the Lions fans! I may be a Washington fan, and I want the Commanders to win, but all respect to the Lions, so happy for their fanbase and team, I won't be unhappy if we lose

I grew up around Ashburn into parents that said "You're a Redskin Baby or we'll put you up for adoption" HAHA! we bleed Burgundy and Gold, HTTR for life~ but I have lived an hour from Detroit almost 40 years now and I've latched on to this Dan Campbell era the hardest since Barry Sander and the Megatron and Stafford era. Other than that? never had much to enjoy. But Dan Campbell, Loved him since the first press conference and ripping off kneecaps - Full support of ownership, stuck to the plan, I just think it's theirs this year, finally, after so long and a town than needs it. But so does Washington and of course I want a win, but just don't see it happening. Lions are just a machine, especially right now. Going to be great! and Washington hasn't a thing to feel bad about if they don't pull it off. I put the odds in the 27% range.

Born and raised a fan of the Skins/Commanders since 78 and I can honestly say we as a fan base deserve it but Detroit deserves it a little more and they’ve done it the right way. Our time will come but I have truly enjoyed what they’ve done over there the last few years. Can’t wait for the two to meet… It’ll be great for both cities.
Lions have the better team. Commanders have been having a charmed season. Appears both teams have bright futures. I see the game going one of two ways. Lions pour it on early, Commanders can't keep up, and a solid Lions win, OR Washington keeps it close into the 4th quarter and this charmed season continues with end-of-game heroics.
I'm a WAS fan and I hear what Campbell is saying. He's a winner. He isn't thinking about what the outside is saying or pressure from anything external. He has his own expectations of himself, and they are high enough that the outside does not matter. I really hope that Dan's approach to coaching is the standard for the future of the NFL going forward. It's what America desperately needs; an honest, inspirational "coach" through whom we can ditch the cynicism, self-interest, lack of concern for our fellow teammates and utter contempt for anyone not on our team; a "coach" - who's also a formidable adversary.

Why would we? Jayden makes under average players look good. We shouldn't be here, Jayden is just that good at elevating everyone. We have a ton of cap space and draft picks. I was born 11 months before the Lions last won in December of 1957. I am more fearful of this Washington team than I am of ANY other team. They play like they don't give a hoot about which opponent is out there... they are there to play ball and win. Jayden Daniels is a magician and he has a wideout like McLaurin who has been extremely productive against every opponent the Commanders played. The thing you have to remember is that Washington's O.C. (who is still being paid by Arizona until 2026) is that Cliff Kingsbury got the best out of Kyler Murray. Jayden is a superior talent... by far.

They beat Washington, ending their losing streak, and I was so happy for them, they deserved it. I still remind folks of that, when questioned who has the best fans, it's the Lions fans! I may be a Washington fan, and I want the Commanders to win, but all respect to the Lions, so happy for their fanbase and team, I won't be unhappy if we lose

I grew up around Ashburn into parents that said "You're a Redskin Baby or we'll put you up for adoption" HAHA! we bleed Burgundy and Gold, HTTR for life~ but I have lived an hour from Detroit almost 40 years now and I've latched on to this Dan Campbell era the hardest since Barry Sander and the Megatron and Stafford era. Other than that? never had much to enjoy. But Dan Campbell, Loved him since the first press conference and ripping off kneecaps - Full support of ownership, stuck to the plan, I just think it's theirs this year, finally, after so long and a town than needs it. But so does Washington and of course I want a win, but just don't see it happening. Lions are just a machine, especially right now. Going to be great! and Washington hasn't a thing to feel bad about if they don't pull it off. I put the odds in the 27% range.

And yeah the Lions are gonna be hard to stop. Even tho we have been playing better it’s gonna take a lot of Detroit mistakes for us to get the W imo. But I’m still excited to still be in it and with 5 we have a chance against anyone 💯🪶

Born and raised a fan of the Skins/Commanders since 78 and I can honestly say we as a fan base deserve it but Detroit deserves it a little more and they’ve done it the right way. Our time will come but I have truly enjoyed what they’ve done over there the last few years. Can’t wait for the two to meet… It’ll be great for both cities.

Lions have the better team. Commanders have been having a charmed season. Appears both teams have bright futures. I see the game going one of two ways. Lions pour it on early, Commanders can't keep up, and a solid Lions win, OR Washington keeps it close into the 4th quarter and this charmed season continues with end-of-game heroics.

I'm a WAS fan and I hear what Campbell is saying. He's a winner. He isn't thinking about what the outside is saying or pressure from anything external. He has his own expectations of himself, and they are high enough that the outside does not matter. He's always about winning the next game no matter what so there's no room for gossip or whatever these reporters are talking about. Huge respect to DC

I really hope that Dan's approach to coaching is the standard for the future of the NFL going forward. It's what America desperately needs; an honest, inspirational "coach" through whom we can ditch the cynicism, self-interest, lack of concern for our fellow teammates and utter contempt for anyone not on our team; a "coach" - who's also a formidable adversary.
The Bucs fell hard. Washington was the better team and I'm now rooting for the Lions. It's not that I want to see Washington lose, I just think it's time to see the Lions finally get into the SB.
As a Lions fan, I'm looking forward to this game, which could well be a classic. Much props and respect to Washington for their turnaround. I expect these teams will be in the NFC championship mix for some years to come.

As a Commanders fan these 2 franchises have been the laughing stock of the NFL for a very long time I have respect for DC he has turned the Lions around in 2 yrs and Dan Quinn has turned Washington around in 1 season the last time these 2 teams played for anything significant was a shot at the Super Bowl in 1991 No matter how this game goes seeing these 2 teams fight for their franchise and fan bases who deserve it... Why would we? Jayden makes under average players look good. We shouldn't be here, Jayden is just that good at elevating everyone. We have a ton of cap space and draft picks. This is literally the worse we are ever gonna be most likely. I expect play offs the next ten years. We got our play off win, next year or two we get our championship. But that isn't going to stop us from trying to get one this year.

I was born 11 months before the Lions last won in December of 1957. I am more fearful of this Washington team than I am of ANY other team. They play like they don't give a hoot about which opponent is out there... they are there to play ball and win. Jayden Daniels is a magician and he has a wideout like McLaurin who has been extremely productive against every opponent the Commanders played. The thing you have to remember is that Washington's O.C. (who is still being paid by Arizona until 2026) is that Cliff Kingsbury got the best out of Kyler Murray. Jayden is a superior talent... by far.

I mean wow. Dan Campbell is really a deep thinker, very caring very honest, and VERY smart man. I hate the meme image of him as a knucklehead, chaw-lipped caveman type. Hes the real deal. Ive waited my entire Lions life for a coach like this. The Lions were cursed for all of existence and then Brad and Dan came to town. There was never a more hopeless, darker era than the QuinnTricia years and we've come out of it to this. Incredible.

I doubt we will win but one thing I have learned with this team is nothing is impossible until the clock says 0 at the end. I love the Commanders, but I must say that the lions are a team to respect. They deserve a Super Bowl appearance, but I must say I hope the Commanders prevent them from getting what the Lions deservde.
