I have listened to you for years, Pastor Begg, on Pilgrim Radio. And God has used you as a continuous blessing and as a gentle rod of correction. This is been so both and what I thought was my Christianity, and my coming to Christ in truth. There are no adequate words to Express my gratitude to God first and you afterward. Thank you for a thought-provoking sermon. May we all have faith in Jesus Christ like our Brother King David when faced with the Goliaths in our lives. Indeed it is a timely message for me.
A MArvelous perspective on this passage in the history of Israel. David was indeed anointed and living "in the Spirit" of the Lord. The Spirit was with him. Pointing David's faith to that of the True King of All, Jesus the Christ, is right and proper. God provides the great conqueror over sin; it is only through Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ that a man will have voice with The Heavenly Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Spirit is at work today, and the Church is mighty. Thank you Pastor Alister for delivering the inspired Word. I get encouragement every day from your teaching and preaching.
