    How can I put God first without believing in God like THAT (not an atheist)?

    • @Nasrumii
      @Nasrumii ปีที่แล้ว

      You get to know Him better by praying, reading your Bible, and just overall seeking Him. For yourself. The more you get to know who He is, the more faith you start to develop. Your relationship strengthens.
      You’ll have no choice but to put him first at that point because you’ll begin to realize that He will never lead you down the wrong path. You’ll Want to put Him first. But ya gotta truly seek Him.

      @@Nasrumii i appreciate that. I was raised in church though, and for a million reasons won't be going down that path again, although nothing against it for other people. So just looking for a more practical approach. But you're right, "seek and you shall find".

      By realizing that God is beyond any religion. The church does not have a monopoly on God.
      This was, in fact, Jesus' message. Essentially, "you are in God! Don't listen to earthly leaders' judgments!"
      God is all-encompassing. God is in you. God is you.
      There is no earthly power who has power over you if you are in God.
      I recommend the Edinburgh Lectures by Thomas Troward and the inspirations that stem from these thinkers. They understood how "religion" is not God.
      Religion is human. Religion is survival-based.
      God does not need to be defended. God is not physically defined. And when you rest in this, you gain supreme confidence in life.
