Thank you so much for sharing this! I avidly watched (and videotaped) Who's the Boss? as a teenager when it re-ran on ABC Family in the 00s. I've admired Judith Light for her diverse roles in film, TV, and live theatre as well as her passionate activism, and I started re-watching WTB? on TH-cam after seeing her presenting at the Tony Awards last Sunday. This was my first time seeing this ET special, but I remember having seen Lifetime's Intimate Portrait of Ms. Light and the E! True Hollywood Story episode about WTB? but cannot seem to find the latter.
It's to bad Tony and Judith were married to different people during the filming of this show, you can totally see the chemistry between them when they aren't filming and seeing as their very close to this day
Well, he's single now because he's divorced but she's still married to the same guy she met on "One Life to Live" but it's funny you should say that because Suzanne Somers asked them in 1995, if they never met their spouses or were not married, could they have fallen in love and she said she doesn't know, it's one of life's questions that she can't answer. Who knows, maybe in another lifetime but I think they would have been good for one another, not only do they have chemistry and look good together but they're really close friends.

There seems to be an eerie force that makes a lot of tragic things happen at once. (Tony's ski accident, losing his mother, etc). It's sad to think that the show was almost taken off the air so early. In Tony's defense over being over zealous, the show was an art, and it must have been hard to see the show taking questionable turns. (Ask any artist.) Well "The A Team" didn't last as long as "Who's the Boss?" Alyssa kind of invited her own problems later.
I love this show and I finished watching it like a month ago. I must say, however, that the last season was boring. They didn't have much to tell at that point. Tony was insufferable in season 8. I prefer the first 4 seasons more.
I actually didn't mind Tony in season 8. Season 7 Tony didn't sit well with me. Also, as the seasons went on, they had more story lines with Sam than they did with Jonathon. I think they should have split the stories between the 2.
I laughed, cried and frowned in this video, I cried because seeing how they all grew up and the repeat of the final episode, also because Pint was crying when they wrapped up, I frowned and was disappointed to see how Alyssa grew into a sex image, I really looked up to her. I laughed due to the Bloopers. Its really sad to see the show being on for that long and seeing them grow up so fast. Same thing when I was watching charmed Alyssa went from her foolish 20s to a beautiful woman
This was and still is the best TV series ever IMO. Just the theme song alone takes me back. I'm busy watching it from scratch and It still holds up. They don't make TV shows like this anymore. The world has become a cesspool of snowflakes. It's sad AF. The 80's was the best for TV shows. The A-Team, MacGyver, Murder She Wrote, V, Knight Rider, Airwolf, Miami Vice, The Wonder Years, The Golden Girls, Magnum P.I. etc. All just so brilliant.
NOPE!! All the shows you listed are GARBAGE, pure crap! Shame on you for listing Knight Rider (a piece of crap in American Television if there ever was one, LOL!) as "best". You should hide! The 70s is where it's at for American television. THAT was your golden age of television. Very few shows made the grade in the 80s. WTB was good but it wasn't a "show", it was a SITCOM. Huge difference. (Video style, not film. Filmed in front of an audience. Filmed in closed sets like a play, except for the rare outdoorsy/beach episode...)
They would’ve been happy fourth to go on, but at the same time I’ve seen far too many shows that are blessed beyond their time and it’s ruined them. I think it’s better to go out on top them to go out after you start to fizzle away.
I think it was supposed to premiere in 1982 or 1983, everything was set. all the actors were set and everything. but tony , i think, got into a brawl fight in a bar somewhere in new york city and he had to go to court and get that settled and i think his punishment was either paying a fine or doing community service. I think tony did community service for his offense. Luckily, they let him off easy. So the show was delayed for a year until tony finished his community service. so, as a result, who's the boss? premiered in 1984 rather than in 1983 or 1982
There Is One Thing Wrong In this When The guy who was telling a story of who's the boss? he said angela bower was a widow and that was wrong Her husband left her & there son I know I watched it. So I saw the dad in the later episodes. & What That Guy Said Was Wrong Angela's Husband Didn't Die He Left her to go to another country!
Yea, but on the other hand, it's not surprising. When these people are a little too popular at too young of an age, these things happen. It's as if when their .applauses and cheers for being 'good children' are over, these people take a turn for the R rated to keep their popularity. In all honesty, Alyssa Milano invited the very troubles she complained about. It's like she wanted the image but then complained about the results of what she wanted.
Sounds like victim blaming. I understand why actresses try to shed the good girl or little girl reputation as it greatly limits the shows or movie parts they can get. Didn’t give the magazine the right to post fake naked photos of her without her permission. I’m glad she went after them.

What exactly did the crazed fan write to Danny Pintauro in the letters?
(I know it was harassment, but Pintauro's description was really vague.)
Do you play instruments?
What year was this on Entertainment Tonight.
I love you for posting this :D
Tony Danza👍❤️🌞
Umm..I don't get it, why did she, ummm 10:30 ?
Like you couldn't tell he wasn't gay when he was on Who's the Boss... really?
I laughed, cried and frowned in this video, I cried because seeing how they all grew up and the repeat of the final episode, also because Pint was crying when they wrapped up, I frowned and was disappointed to see how Alyssa grew into a sex image, I really looked up to her. I laughed due to the Bloopers. Its really sad to see the show being on for that long and seeing them grow up so fast. Same thing when I was watching charmed Alyssa went from her foolish 20s to a beautiful woman
Love this show. It was always obvious Danny was Gay! We loved the entire cast just as they were.
Susan Lucci turned 54 in 2000
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I préfered Angela on who s the boss
This was and still is the best TV series ever IMO. Just the theme song alone takes me back. I'm busy watching it from scratch and It still holds up. They don't make TV shows like this anymore. The world has become a cesspool of snowflakes. It's sad AF. The 80's was the best for TV shows. The A-Team, MacGyver, Murder She Wrote, V, Knight Rider, Airwolf, Miami Vice, The Wonder Years, The Golden Girls, Magnum P.I. etc. All just so brilliant.
threes company
Angela wasn’t a widow lol she was divorced… or separated when the show started then divorced as the show aired
I’m very curious what year did this premiere
I think it was supposed to premiere in 1982 or 1983, everything was set. all the actors were set and everything. but tony , i think, got into a brawl fight in a bar somewhere in new york city and he had to go to court and get that settled and i think his punishment was either paying a fine or doing community service. I think tony did community service for his offense. Luckily, they let him off easy. So the show was delayed for a year until tony finished his community service. so, as a result, who's the boss? premiered in 1984 rather than in 1983 or 1982
@@pallavisreetambraparni6995 i actually kinda meant the Who’s The Boss ET Interview Special, when did that premiere
@@johnnymarrero8011 This particular special aired in 2000.
yeah it was a 2001 episode
does anyone know what the letter to danny said? the one where the author commited suicide
they should've made tony and angela marry and made angela get pregnant with tony's child. that would've made the show continue.
@JamJam2014 I agree! Maybe it was a mistake!
Yeah Mcihale Bower was played by Tony winner James Naughton - he came twice on 2 "to be cont" episodes
@eternalhalloween1 I agree
I agree.
Not a surprise he was a fruit ....
