I was privileged to attend this event, and when each of the formers walked up, I made it a point to applaud each of them equally and enthusiastically. Regardless of whether or not I agreed with them politically. We should always respect them as leaders of the free world. Period. It made me sad that others felt more inclined to applaud their “favorites” as though it were a high school homecoming coronation.
