A small town, in which, just like Casselton, ND, and Graniteville, SC, not much goes on. But it was a disaster that occurred 46 years and 8 months ago, that put this town on the map forever. This is the tragic story of the Waverly train derailment and explosion. Glamrocks: Oh no... Gregory and Cassie: This is gonna be good! On Febuary 22nd, 1978, a Louisville and Nashville train derailed in the town of Waverly, Tennessee. Derailment cleanup began almost immediately. Most people that went to the site of the derailment took out their video cameras, if they had one, and video taped the derailment. There was a certain tank car in the consist, known as UTLX 83013, that was carrying Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG). James Anderson, a local man, took out a video camera that he had and video taped the tank car, along with a few others. But little did anyone know that the tank car was a ticking time bomb. Glamrocks, Cassie and Gregory: Oh no....... Fast forward 2 days later, Febuary 24th. A hazmat team that showed up on the site was beginning the disposal process of the LPG inside 83013. At 2:58 PM, however, something caught an inspector's eye, something leaking out of the tank car, which he described as white vapor. Sadly, those would be the last few seconds that he and quite a few others would ever see again, as seconds later, disaster struck. Glamrocks, Cassie, and Gregory: Oh god... Me:(Mimics explosion sound) The tank car explodes as a result of a BLEVE, or Boiling Liquid Expanding Vapor Explosion. The blast was so forceful that it could be heard MILES away and launched cars, trees, and debris as high as 300 feet in the air. The blast took 6 lives instantly, but 10 more would die later, bringing the total death toll up to 16. The Waverly Police and Fire chiefs were among the dead. Roxy: Oh my god... this is disturbing! Me: The Interstate Commerce Commission, or ICC, launched an investigation into the accident. The accident was determined to be fully blamed on the damage from the tank car from the initial derailment, 2 days prior. In the end, over 10 buildings, 50 cars, and a few railcars were all scrapped and/or couldn't be rebuilt. This disaster serves as a warning that anything can happen when a tank car loaded with LPG or other gasses can explode at any moments notice. OK…now THAT was adorable: if only in the most horrible way possible!..:) If only for the sake of reiterating and spreading the word, I’ll just also say that between Steel Wool Studios not only continuing, but now also doubling down on their bullshit twice over;; including having horrible things happen and forcing the player to do horrible things to sentient innocent instantly loveable child friendly characters: and their reference to rape (e.g. Roxy’s torn clothing and what they have her say after they force the player to mutilate her): and their rather peculiar obsession with children’s backpacks as heard in their interview: while at the same time focussing their advertising and marketing of the game towards children: especially Steel Wool Studios has gone too far: and until Steel Wool Studios gets their metaphorical shit together and cleans up the mess that they have made by redoing everything so that there is at least an actual happy ending where the player frees and saves the glamrock animatronics instead: I will be boycotting the FNAF franchise in its entirety: and I ask and encourage everyone reading this to please do the same… While I do not: if anyone reading this owns security breach on steam, it may also help if the would be so kind as to leave a negative review of the game sighting the current lack of an actual happy ending as one of; if not the primary reason for this… With this in mind I will also add that even before we knew that they had decided to continue with their shit show; I had sent Steelwool studios several emails asking them to make such an actual happy ending in which nothing horrible happens to any of the animatronics; the pizzaplex is left intact; and the player frees and saves them instead: and if anyone else reading this would like to send them an email as well all the needs to do is go to the contact section of their website.
