Love the Para 3 LW! Not being centered is the nature of that beast. (It has One washer on the pivot) I like the blade size. Nice video! That's a Great price on Cruwear!
My eyes must be playing tricks with me even with my new glasses on. It’s looks Black totally!!! I recently bought a dream knife is the Spyderco spy opera in brown micarta and M390 steel. Love that knife!!! I was going to get a para 3 but I liked the Sage 5 Lightweight way better in S30V. Lol😊
Ive owned mine for about a month. Love it. Cru-wear is definitely my favorite steel so far for the reasons you stated. I took the factory edge off and re-shsrpened on DMT up to Extra fine. And wow what an edge. No other steel has that agressive of a feel to it. S90v feels close but way more work to get there and less toughness. Edit. I should add there was nothing wrong with the factory edge. Ive only had the DMT bench stones for 2 months, so ive been on a journey learning to resharpen the whole collection.
Good to hear that it actually gets better. I've always thought there he'd treat and edges are so good. But if it even gets better that's exciting. I love that steel. Thanks!
I totally dig the TKJ Para3 in DLC CruWear!!!! So much so I am thinking of going for a second! Honestly this PM3 has the best action and centering of all of my PM3s. Only thing about the blade coating is it picks up each and every smudge, but it wipes off with ease. Still waiting on the dang CruCarta PM3 I have preorder about 6mos or so ago. Thanks for the review man!

The most exotic steel I have from Spyderco is REX 45. I’ve heard glowing stuff about Maxamet and now Cruwear. I may get around to it eventually… I just don’t have a good hand for knowing how steels perform based on cutting the odd shipping box and apple here and there.
Yeah I'm still learning myself but these are great steels especially when Spyderco heat treats them. This steel is the biteiest one I have cut with. Sharpening his not too hard and it takes a wicked Edge. Thanks
Man, it seems to be a hit and miss thing. I know a lot of people that love the lightweight material like me and I know a lot of people that don't like it. Does it feel plasticky? Yes, does it have an excellent bi-directional grip to it? Yes. So it's really up to you. They are very light and usable for sure. Thanks
