I surprised my girlfriend with a birthday trip to Palma de Mallorca in late January, and even though I had some worries about the weather, the island greeted us with warm sunshine and bright skies. It was almost like spring had arrived early, with temperatures averaging around 18°C! ☀️
Instead of packing bulky jackets, we were perfectly comfortable in jeans, pullovers, and light jackets. We based ourselves in the heart of Palma, opting for the convenience of public transportation. Our favorite beach discovery was Cala Comtesa, a stunning spot accessible by bus number 4. While the beachside facilities were closed during our winter visit, the breathtaking views were more than enough!
