The original video was deleted by TH-cam due to a privacy complaint. I reuploaded the video without a dialogue where a local guy described his experience in dealing with the Chechen militia.
omg I thought I was taken back into the past , feeling de ja vu! It's okay, we'll watch it again and again! Your journey and video are lovely and amazing
Ya I remember several comments telling you that the guy is probably gonna meet his demise cause of what he said. Someone must of feared for his safety and contacted TH-cam.
I always enjoy your videos. I bet TH-cam also penalized you for the train hopping ones. Shame be cause those are really good. I’ve said before, but I think you are on par with National Geographic on content. And a very important resource for cheap adventure travel.
TH-cam deleted the original video because he endangered the people from the video on their lifes. The interviewees were criticized the regime and vagabond did not bother to change their voices and hide faces. :(
Grozny looks incredibly nice compared to the pictures of devastation I saw. Also I was expecting double language (not just russian) and as well a setup decoupled from the rest of russia. Instead there are lots of russian flags and co. I am surprised. Thank you for this, if you can explore more there it would be great.
Wonderful video! ✅ I love how fearless & interesting all your videos are - taking us with you, to some of the remotest, far away places that nobody else does. 👍🏻 Thank you!
The Second Chechen war started with an attack of chechens led by Basaev on the neighouting Dagestan in August 1999 The video gives an impression as if Russia started the war under some kind of false pretenses
The video deliberately just says that the apartment bombings were blamed on the Chechens, while missing out that its been proven that Russian Intelligence were the ones that perpetrated the attacks. Vagabond tries not to explicitly criticise his Government where possible.
@@KettyFey it was proven in your deranged imagination. There was literally an attack of several thousand armed terrorists on a neighboring region from Chechnya one month prior to these bombings. Not even mentioning hosting terrorist groups from all over the Middle East (like Hattab) in Chechnya, a series of kidnappings of Russian officials and the list goes on. Yeah, sure, Russia had to blow up several buildings in its own cities to find a reason to start the war. Exactly the same bs as Russia shelled Donbas for 8 years to blame it on Ukraine, Russia blew up Nord Stream, Russia cut off gas to Europe etc

@@aluminiumknight4038 From what I remember the guy in the car talked about how the local police would kidnap random people and torture them, and that had happened to him.
I see mosques, and I can appreciate their aesthetic beauty & the craftsmanship that has gone into them, but it's hard to not be disgusted by their acceptance in Christian cultures.
Chechen's doing well under ''Russian slavery'', the biggest mosque in Europe, the best fighters in the world, at peace at home. They might not be like the emirates, but they are doing better than most Muslims states
@@yt-fo8rx He has blurred faces in the past, or spoken out what they said in his own voice. Just didn't do it in this one video, and in the original upload he was called out for it. Not sure what was his reasoning then - as the guy in the car was directly accusing the police of torturing random people for no reason.
Pretty cool. Russia and central Asia are on my bucket list. I want to see the Orthodox church where there is a mosaic of Yuri Garguran and the other 2 of the first 3 cosmonauts on the outside and it's quite worth seeing the inside. I'm sure you know where it's located.

The video is deliberately meant to make Russia look bad. Even the title is misleading, classic propaganda.

Did you actually ever eat what you called, "an original Big Mac", in the United States? I'm just curious. I find your videos very interesting.
Well, yes, before McDonald's left Russia. Plus I visit McDonald's in almost every country where it exists.
Why are the gas lines above ground in Russia?
