I really miss that time when we had fun in dungeons and shadow missions healing, bandaging and helping each other, being near campfire talking about life, how to beat the boss and how to get stronger together. We had a small fortune: each other. We didn't worry about being OP, about buying the most expensive stuff. We were a small family, Milletians, the almighty people that saved Erinn!
Man... I remember making all sorts of friends from 2014 to 2016... The people we met in-game really can be like a second family sometimes. Still playing as of now but things do not quite feel the same anymore.

mabinogi is something very special to me, its where i learned a lot of things, its where i went to escape into a 2nd world, a world where i was free, were i was a hero, where i could do anything i pleased, it was were i made friends, met the love of my life, just lived. This song brought those memories back flooding, this is truly not just an RPG, it is its own world of experiences and people. Thank you, thank you truly, My name is Kingpi and Lyxanddreams, and i am proud to be a mabinogian.
Alas it is a shame, but rest easy as we are kindred spirits of the finest online life one could hope to find =]
Daaaaaaaaang. I miss this event so much... Probably one of my favorites... I hope they bring it back sometime! :D
This song pulls on my emotions because of how it reminds me how great this game is. It's come a long way with all of it's story updates, but sadly I feel like the community is not what it used to be. I remember when there were swarms of people at Tir Na Nog, and there were veterans waiting at Tir Chonail to give newbies a hand. This song though, for some reason, reminds me of all of that. And it makes me sad for both reasons of good and bad. Oh, and it's brilliantly composed. Something I wish I could find too, is a lot of people with an interest in music. It seems harder and harder for me to find people like that in Mabi nowadays. If anyone would like to add me and share a musical experience, I'm Amateratsu90 on Ruairi. If I don't/can't add you, not me. I'd be glad to share our love for music.
I've actually been trying to get into Mabinogi for a year or so, but I always find myself having the same problem I always have in MMO's, I just don't get where to start with making a half-decent character, and the combat feels a bit clunky but I find it fun regardless.

I'm free anytime, since I don't have school for another few weeks, and when it does start I'm never actually doing anything when I'm not at school, so I always have atleast 8 hours a day to play. Ah, the joys of still being in high school.
I remember I started playing 3-4 months before the Doki Doki Island event but I never got very far, the large amount of classes and stuff is very overwhelming. I'm gonna first do all the starter quests, tutorials and what not because I forgot my username and password.
Ami Mizuno Ah, Doki Doki island. I never was able to get that flight skill, even though the event happened twice. Whenever you do finish your starter quests and stuff, say something, I'll be waiting =P

Same, was a very avid player in the past, but the memories will always keep me logging atleast once or twice a year for a bit.
Damn… it’s been 16 years… this song brings me back hard and the feels… it just floods all the memories I had with all the people I met, playing music around bonfires with my Lute. I remember trying to look for midi files of Inuyasha, Naruto, Elfen Lied, and Neon Genesis Evangelion and playing them on my lute but my character was somewhat bad at it cause his skill wasn’t high enough but I still had fun playing them around people and friends. I had my first online relationship on this game and I remember roleplaying as someone who’s quiet and a bit serious “cringey noises” xD my teenage years were pretty Interesting 😅. Those were the simple good times 😊
As wonderful as this song is, I wouldn't deny the wonderful music of the present and future. This song encourages the nostalgia of something good from the past, but also to look forward to what's on the horizon. It was a great event that brought me back to Mabi from a lengthy break and I'm glad it happened, but I'm even more excited to what I'll experience next in this wonderful Fantasy Life ♫

I'm pretty sure she is, this version of the song was composed by South Korean composer HanStone and arranged by Japanese composer Kenji Ito and the lyrics were originally sung by Rie Tanaka for the Japanese version of the game.

Ive played mabinogi since Pioners of iria in the US... This song made a graphic impact on all the memerys ive had.. good and bad.
Never heard of the game, but for anyone wondering, Mabinogi is actually a Welsh collective name for Welsh legends, although not all Welsh legends are Mabinogi legends.
this is the single thing that made me play mabinogi before. the game itself is quite complicated but if you know what you want and dont have any high expectations it's a great game. i was a chef on this game, it's awesome how you can be whatever you want and dont even have to fight, you can just be a merchant of some sort. like me a chef. it's fun, idk how it holds today tho. but damn this song is awesome.
Well, at least we can rest assured that Tarlach and Mari have someone who will welcome new players and try to make everyone have a fun time playing around. :3

Honestly I was rather late to mabinogi, joined around 2015 (only can remember bc of my spirit of tuan) bc a friend irl and god i miss the good times. Especially when able to join random freestyle jams in 2017 when thats all anyone wanted to do. We would all play random vocaloid songs and even though it would sound horrible i always used my pretty milkyway snare drum. I just logged in today and it was kinda sad seeing that while theres not really a lot of people, but it's the only mmo i can still have fun playing by myself. Also, if you see a character running around on Alexina named Rorosu or Polymeric, yeah thats me lolol

Same here! and when i first discovered Miku was coming to Mabinogi. I had the biggest fan-boy moment and almost ended up in hospital because i ended up running into a wall ._.

I'm the same way with Alexina I've been on the server since it's release I know the guilds and I know almost everyone. 4 years and still goin strong. They change it upon the version, I REALLLLLLY enjoyed the last one, the piano one. It's good to have a change, the normal version is really good. They change it to be fresh and to give each update that something unique about them. You only heard this one cuz they changed from the normal version of the theme so who's to say there won't be one that you'll love coming around the corner. Not to mention they'd have to pay royalties for this to Hatsune Miku which won't be that profitable in NA Mabi

I'm pretty sure the main issues are with licencing rights in the US. It would be easy enough to translate and implement the content from other regions, Nexon NA would need to buy the rights to use the IP say Sword Art from Aniplex which could be expensive or have limits or whatever.
