As for merchandise, you could always route a portion of the proceeds to a cat/dog/monkey sanctuary and low-cost spay/neuter clinic. Since you really can't take in many more at your home, it may be a way to extend your gift and talents to the animal community around you. Just a thought....... Michael, if you sold merchandise, I'd buy something. But, whether you do or not, doesn't matter. Just being able to share a little insight into your life and your Zoo is worth so much more. BTW, one of my most favorite gifts that my Mom and Dad ever bought me, was when I was about 11/12yo they, knowing my favorite animal of all time (and still is) is the Siberian Tiger, found a place that specialized in stuffed animals in life-size. They bought me a Siberian Tiger... he was huge... took up my whole bed... lol. His name was Samson. I had him for many, many years, until, sadly, one of our dogs got hold of him and well, he's in stuffed animal heaven now. I'm sure merchandise of that type would bring a smile to anyone's face 😆

You can keep the manufacturing and shipping cost and channel the profits to some organization working for tiger conservation. I think that would be a win-win situation. We would get the merch, at the same time contribute to tiger conservation, while you would get the satisfaction that you are not using your boys for business.

Merchandise is a fantastic idea if you can support the people around you by having them make it and paying them a fair price for the work. I'm sure their appreciation will show in the finished products. If you do end up making any spare money then you could donate it to a local charity to help care for animals you can't take into your home. We could all then feel like we're helping and spreading your good and positive vibes :o)

I think a calendar would be great as it could show case all of your pets - especially Enzo & Diego (also with you in a photo somehow - or a photo of you and the tigers when they were younger) One month could highlight Arne, another month all the Diegos ~ it would be a great keepsake to have an image of the animals you have & what they look like in a particular calendar year. I know what you mean about being hesitant about the business end of things- as you have been there & done that all before. But if you start small & keep it small maybe it would not be too hard on you. I’m sure whatever you decide, it will be a success because of the nature of your channel.

Tigers have been my favourite animal for a long time and I fell in love with your channel as soon as I discovered it. I immediately showed my boyfriend and now we both love all your animals! Enzo is the one who has some experience with baby tigers. Diego does not as much. Only as he was very little himself. As to the merch - well Michael it micht be nice for people, if it was good quality. This plush tiger is not ;) but some nice shaped and painted cups? magnets ? phone cases ? pillow cases? keychains? tshirts with some funny tiger print, maybe subtitled with tiger dialog or your sayings? Just some examples that I think of with no longer thought. Whatever you choose to do, as long as you put heart in it. Cheers!

The easiest thing to market is T-shirts. You can register your design at a manufacturer and they will print and distribute the clothing for you. Most people would LOVE to wear a t-shirt with a tiger on it that says "can you believe it!"
You should make prints of your paintings of the two boys...those would be fun to own. And you could sell stuffed toy tiger that have been kissed by Diego :)
Making money isn't the problem, Michael. Of course you need to have income to support your huge family of critters. I 'get it' though. I create a lot of things also, but can't do it for profit...unless I donate it to the free meal ministry that my husband and I coordinate. I love to give things away, but have a very hard time when people suggest that I create things to sell...seems wrong somehow, yet I know it's not really. Greed is one thing, but making enough to keep up with the daily demands of your household is another thing entirely. Go for it! :)

Merchandise is a fantastic idea if you can support the people around you by having them make it and paying them a fair price for the work. I'm sure their appreciation will show in the finished products. If you do end up making any spare money then you could donate it to a local charity to help care for animals you can't take into your home. We could all then feel like we're helping and spreading your good and positive vibes :o)

I think a calendar would be great as it could show case all of your pets - especially Enzo & Diego (also with you in a photo somehow - or a photo of you and the tigers when they were younger) One month could highlight Arne, another month all the Diegos ~ it would be a great keepsake to have an image of the animals you have & what they look like in a particular calendar year. I know what you mean about being hesitant about the business end of things- as you have been there & done that all before. But if you start small & keep it small maybe it would not be too hard on you. I’m sure whatever you decide, it will be a success because of the nature of your channel.

Tigers have been my favourite animal for a long time and I fell in love with your channel as soon as I discovered it. I immediately showed my boyfriend and now we both love all your animals! Enzo is the one who has some experience with baby tigers. Diego does not as much. Only as he was very little himself. As to the merch - well Michael it micht be nice for people, if it was good quality. This plush tiger is not ;) but some nice shaped and painted cups? magnets ? phone cases ? pillow cases? keychains? tshirts with some funny tiger print, maybe subtitled with tiger dialog or your sayings? Just some examples that I think of with no longer thought. Whatever you choose to do, as long as you put heart in it. Cheers!

Or to help fund an educational program (such as care & responsibility of animal ownership)? Or help support local cat rescues with trap & neuter programs? ❤️

The easiest thing to market is T-shirts. You can register your design at a manufacturer and they will print and distribute the clothing for you. Most people would LOVE to wear a t-shirt with a tiger on it that says "can you believe it!"

Making money isn't the problem, Michael. Of course you need to have income to support your huge family of critters. I 'get it' though. I create a lot of things also, but can't do it for profit...unless I donate it to the free meal ministry that my husband and I coordinate. I love to give things away, but have a very hard time when people suggest that I create things to sell...seems wrong somehow, yet I know it's not really. Greed is one thing, but making enough to keep up with the daily demands of your household is another thing entirely. Go for it! :)
Enzo likes cubs. He was so sweet with them when they were young. If you do stuffed animals you need to do their cool stripes.
Enzo has come in contact with 2 tigers before. I think he would enjoy seeing a little tiger cub again.
Enzo came first to check as he thought there is another Diago... previous experience. Maybe he wanted another Diago. :)
