The other problem is that all nuclear fissionable materials have unique signatures that can be identified very quickly. They would be able to tell where the core came from down to the reactor.
I own several seasons of this show but I still can’t resist watching it here too! This show messes with the mind! Season 1 episode 2 gave me nightmares! By season 2 I couldn’t stop watching! 🤩
Not only that, but the effective yield of such a device would be no more than one to two kilotons. Enough to cause significant damage out to about 500 metres or so, with the most severe damage contained within 250 metres. Fallout would be fairly minimal beyond a one kilometre radius of the blast site. Yes, a lot of people within this radius would be killed or injured, but the numbers wouldn't be huge. If detonated in the deepest part of the London Underground, well away from any passenger lines, the explosion would be well contained and there would be no radioactive fallout, heat or blast effects to contend with. Nukes of this size are known as Sub-Atomic Demolition Munitions (SADM) and are mainly used to destroy single points like big bridges or other hard points that need to be destroyed quickly or would otherwise require enormous amounts of conventional explosives. They often have a selectable yield ranging from as little as 0.01kT (kilotons) up to 2kT.
Wait a minute. FSB has a huge, ceiling to floor windowed office space in central London that is not the Embassy? and MI5/6 are not aware of this? Hmmm...
49:00 Connies comments to Lucas have always stuck out to me as excellent storytelling. "You can get back what you've lost" and then her saying she's not afraid of bombs.. but only in the moment when she is facing death does she seem to feel brave enough to tell Lucas what she did. She's not afraid of bombs but she was afraid of admitting the truth of what she had done. great stuff.
No way I'm buying the premise. Connie is a snake, OK. But you've got to assume that everybody in the government loses their senses to achieve an outcome like in The Fourth Protocol. No way. It's really exciting, though, so people should watch but not take it seriously.
Why MI5 agent in his country is alone fighting and Russian are a group , where are another MI5 agents 😂😂😂😂 and threaten by nuclear attack . Don’t get me wrong I love English films and fan von MI6 and MI5 , but this episode is a bit cheesy
At 14:10....they should have a contingency plan for that...that is, evacuating London is not possible but there should be a plan to quickly get "important" people out. No matter what else happens or not. Maybe just the royals, but probably a few hundred others.
They've had such contingency plans in place for decades now. If the Prime Minister, the King (or Queen) and other key figures couldn't be evacuated out of London in time, there are likely facilities located deep underground that could be located quickly. However, in a time of high international tensions where the chance of nuclear war breaking out appears to be high, these people would be whisked out of London many hours or days before such an event would happen and taken to secure facilities.
Aaaand I am happy again, because another episode of my absolutely favourite spy series is posted🙃. Thank you very much from Poland 💕🙏🌷
It was my favourite spy series, now I prefer the news, for plotting and intrigue.
Oh every time I think I've seen the best, the next is better! Thank you and keep them coming x
Love Spooks, one of the best shows about spies

Watching from Sri Lanka. Love this series , thank you so much for uploading this series. Great movies. 😀 ❤👍

Suitcase nukes are too large for a briefcase and after 25 years without device maintenance there is no guarantee it would detonate correctly.

Hell of a show, which I just discovered today! Thanks for putting it on TH-cam!
The script writers for this series know how to write a thrilling plot. Well done. Thanks for posting
Bit silly
Love this series...thank you so much...one love
That's not a trivial shot, he needs to get it packed.
Funny how in some places it's called "SPOOKS" where as I watch it as "MI5" ...... same cast , same excellent program !!!
Watching from Philippines
Thanks so much for posting
Really thrilling ! It gots every necessary item to be an amazing episode!
I am very grateful for your consideration for all of us, thank you.
this was an excellent episode... Connie redeems herself by her sacrifice...
Very captivating series..... Thank you for the upload 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👍🏽
Damn, that was superb. Britain makes thrillers that are far superior to most anything America produces.
Aside from the Jason Bourne movies, I agree with you. Is The Diplomat on Netflix also British? Because it’s really a good series.
East End, Whitechapel, Spitalfields, Hanbury, . . . Ripper haunts
Again another great episode
Thanks for posting- fully enjoy the episodes
Great episode.Had me on the edge of my seat. Connie should have come to New Zealand best little country in the World.
I saw her in Wgtn lol
Thank you...

OMG! The best yet...
What will happen to Harry? 😮
OMG what a scary, possibly wonderful series.
intense series, hope it comes out on dvd
I really like the scenes where they walk. They could easily have dropped the 12 minutes where they don't.
One cant help shedding a tear for connie.
not after her HISS lol
I have grave concerns for Harry.
This one hits home. Given the state of the US southern border. We have allowed the potential for a scenario like this.
FROM THOSE WHO INVADED CONGRESS on the 6th they would have been quite capable and willing im sure
So this show is like a British version of _24_ 🤔🤨🤐
Wow... Tension that can be cut with a knife.
Wallah, hu-ACHBAR!!!
John has a long mustache. Iykyk
The World wont end this way
4:04 well, Bernard from "Yes, Minister" knew about this since '80s. 7:20 - sure FSB is sooo undercover with guns, whole wall windows .... :D
The people in this say "nuclear" correctly. Impressive. Many here in the States can't say it right.
8:00 the FSB has a nice office in East London - better than MI5's!! Tower Hamlets council probably gives them a break on the business rates!!
Reminds me of movie "Telefon"
Do Svidana Tovarich!

oh, my blood pressure!😮😅😊
😂
🤣
How convenient. Grosvenor Square to Charing Cross Station is less than a mile..across ALL of metro London.

At 22:00 looks like they do, at least in this fictional programme. Parliament, royals, and some others.

Only better
14:27 we have ways to make you tok..😂
Coufro...! Caixa!
Great show anyway. Grateful for your sharing 🎉.
That is not shortwave radio. So I know they at least got one detail wrong.
50:35 America losing nw is often ‘broken arrows’ huh.

Spaciba 😂
Overrated.sniper could have easily shot thru the guy to get his target.faje
So many faults in the 5 minutes purely based on the lack of common sense - but there must be drama...
Can this happen at any time soon?!😢
yeah next week ... sleep well
@@alexbolide4009 Damned Russian Thugs!
