In this day and age, you never know if you and yours might wind up in a situation where you have to evacuate your home or work due to some disaster (weather related or, and I very much hope not, man-made). It's always good to have an emergency kit prepped for such situations, and that kit should contain paper copies of your critical info along with at least 3 days-worth of essentials. We've all become dependent on web access, but very few remember that access to the web is dependent on a ultimately fragile network of physical wiring.
