2:00 I still remember this, I havent played foxhole in 2 months and this felt like ages ago. Wasnt expecting for me to go "Wait, am I in that tank?" Thanks for the memories man, that talos run was super fun and ill treasure it. Hope to come back to foxhole soon.
My personal take is that 94.5mm is way too strong, and that the only 94.5mm and 75mm options that should have 40 meters range are the super tanks (Ares and predator), emplaced guns (ruptura and starbreaker) and the battle tank varients (Hasta(BTD)). 40 meter range 75mm Ascension Flood varient anyone? On another note, it would be cool if the Ransuer could switch between RPGs and AP/RPGs.
uh yeah and make stygian and stockade mirror copies with change to 75mm 40m or something with same speed etc BTD 94.5mm vs ascension flood might be interesting but the asymmetry balancing has always been off in my opinion lol idk this was just a funny meme video of my personal experiences
@@facehurt7606 I concur, Luv me memes, simple as! I just have too much spare time not to waffle about balance. ;P Asymmetry is a pain in the arse, but I like it. I guess the problem is if you make styge 35 meters, it becomes useless unless used at night to ambush. But if you make stokade 40 meters, then it becomes grazy good at PVE. STD is really good, but I think for the same reason the stygian was so good for the past six months. Like-wise the stockade is crap, but it tends to be lumped in with the Ares more than with the Talos, which also struggles a little in my opinion. (the Talos, everyone and their mum knows the Ares is garbage.)
The Talos is actually a pretty well balanced tank. Slow and a somewhat larger target, but hits harder then your average tank. The STD is fast, does extremely high damage and the only weakness, which is being decrewed is rather unlikely to have a large effect
the talos is what a tank using these kinds of shells should be, it pays for it's high powered rounds, the STD didn't (and arguably still doesn't), I genuinely think if it was more in line with what the talos was it'd be a perfectly well balanced tank
@@ferrox8421 nah, it's a speedy bastard. that makes it far better than the HTD, and the open top is still hardly a weakness bc of glitched open top hitboxes, frankly if there's 94.5 around I'd much rather have it than an htd
@@cornblaster7003 I mean yeah it's slightly better in speed and HP, but it's role within the large scheme of things doesn't really differ from the HTD. The buggy hitbox doesn't only work in its favor, often time you just get randomly decrewed from MG fire on the hull or a arty shell landing 2 meters next to the tank The STD is just not worth making over HTDs or BTs. Don't get me wrong, it was OP af and definitely needed a nerf, but the same still applies to the Stygian

It makes me think that those 2 tanks have a different skill floor and sealing. I feel like Talos has a higher skill sealing than the TD. It's literally quoted as putting a too big of a gun on an oversized turret and a chasis that cannot support it and struggles to do so. xD
talos is just a different role, more for fighting battle tanks or pve some pillboxes/town halls meanwhile the STD is fast enough to reposition and hunt down most tanks. both tanks need to be supported because of their lack of ammo and bad at fighting infantry, talos has short range and std has open top but STD is just faster lol
im honestly jealous of the Talos, i have a thing for useing bizar tanks and the Talos seems like its right up that alley lol shame i dont see enough of them
@@facehurt7606 my favourite tanks are ones peaple say are bad cause it gives me the biggest rush of adrenaline when i get kills ect in them =P its part of the reason ive been playing the HWM and how i originally fell in love with the widow
it's a mini BT that pays for it's firepower, it's perfectly effective but it needs a lot of support to be used well, it's a nice tank and it feels balanced for what it is, it's got a powerful shell and downsides to compensate
What ticks me off is both the Chieftain and STD are both faster than its parent vehicle, the Silverhand. It makes no friggin' sense. "Gee, I wonder why Colonials feel like there's a Warden bias? Hick-yuck!"
i don't find the talos to be a pvp tank it's to slow and has to short of range and the reloade speed is ass so it proboly ment to be more of a pve tank
STD go bonk When it comes to the talos I don't think it should be buffed yet. STD should be brought down to or around Talos level. Don't buff the Talos to be like the STD, lord knows the game wont survive 3 abominations. Third of course being the stygian. GGs, you we're a good gunner. Had a "wait a minute, that's me" moment when I started watching lol
STD really is a point and click adventure
you just describes shooting in every game
Give talos 40meter range and bard speed it would be a great kv2 larp

Oh yeah when foxhole is populated theres no game quite like it.
need epic tankette montage with that BGM. a true dwarf, digging holes for himself and his enemies.

the fact that the talos can 1 shot AT pills makes it really good
its 75mm is crazy good at non concrete pve
i've seen BT's PVE concrete too XD

Any tank: exists
Me as a collie this war: "We'll see who cancels who."
Talos is a cheap battletank, and it does that job very well.
Tonight, I resigned the war alongside my Talos. I won't be coming back till the next Relic War.
