I am from the generation of listening to preachers like Jeff Arnold, Lee Stoneking, Anthony Mangun, Murrell Ewing, G A Mangun, Vesta Mangun, T F Tenney, Paul Mooney and many others, somehow I missed ever hearing Bro Emory til someone brought this message home from NAYC. I've been missing out on some good preaching.
I went to NAYC this year. I went from a messed up Pastors kid to, five years later, a shouter and dancer who now runs the I.T. department in church because when I think where he brought me from. THIS IS THAT!
This was my fist NAYC and this was by far the best message that was preached that week. Not trying to downplay the other ones, they were all great too, but this one really got ahold of me. I've been struggling to fully commit to an Apostolic lifestyle for my entire life. I went to NAYC thinking maybe just maybe it would make things easier. Maybe I'd undergo a sudden transformation and never deal with temptation again, never mess up, never fall again. That I'd become perfect and things would suddenly be easy. That's not how being Apostolic works tho, as many can attest to. It's a struggle , and an everyday one. I stumble and fall CONSTANTLY. But i always get back up. Rewatching this now that im a little older is helping me remember just how badly I want this. I want God more than I've ever wanted anything and I'm determined to do something for his kingdom before I leave this Earth. I might mess up every once in awhile and I may fall to sin. That's okay. The Bible says it in Romans. "For all have sinned, and fallen short of the glory of God". Ik this is probably a long shot, but if you're reading this and you're a young Apostolic person who feels like they can't commit to God for one reason or another, maybe it's an addiction you struggle with like me, maybe it's something that happened in your past, maybe it's mental illness-you can do this. You *can*. God loves you, and he will keep you. But the temptation doesn't just go away. The pressures and struggles don't go away either. Being souled out for God isn't so much never struggling with things as it is clinging to God during those struggles and knowing, hoping, praying that he'll keep you through the storm. It's not at all never being tempted, it's knowing that God will never allow you to undergo more temptation than you can bear, that the things you are tempted by are nothing compared to what he has to offer you, and that even if you do fall to temptation, he still loves you, wants you, and can and will use you. Whatever the situation, whatever the circumstance, whatever your background. Jesus loves you. He made you, he saved you, and he wants to use you. You may think God only wants to use perfect people, but if you do think this, I'm here to inform you you're mistaken. My pastor has a saying. "God doesn't call the qualified, he qualifies the called." So pick up your head. Quiet the voices telling you you can't do it or that you're not worthy. Silence every voice that isn't God's in your life if you have to. Focus in on whatever it is God's placed on your heart. If you're worried you're just imagining things, try to keep in mind God will rarely call you to do something you want to do. If your kneejerk reaction to an idea or thought you may have is "Oh no, I can't do that for X or Y reason", chances are it's not your idea, it's actually God telling you to do something. Trust me on this, just do it, it'll be okay. God won't ever tell you to do something you can't do. Hopefully this comment isn't too rambly or longwinded. I just wanted to share my experiences and maybe help someone else. I've made up my mind, and this IS that for me. I sincerely hope this is that for you as well. God bless.

This is as fantastic. I was there and he really laid something on everyone’s heart. He was one that I will never forget. He changed my life. I will never forget that title. I don’t know what happened next but I was with some lady don’t know who and we were doncign and running because this was that right then. This is that for me now forever.
God Bless you Pastor Emory... For letting God use you the way he does. I pray that one day you can come to the East Coast to NJ to preach. We've heard you at winterfire and you prayed my niece through to the Holy Ghost and we are grateful for that'. Stay on fire for God.
I remember years ago I heard Pastor Emory Preach he hasn't changed...it's good to see that some haven't changed this young crowd could barely keep up with him it looked like they were thrown into a cold swimming pool they were in shock, I remember someone once said that in the end times people won't be able to endure sound doctrine but will want teachers according to their own desires.... I think we're in that day in "Pentecost"

Re-watching this message in 2023. I was there in 2017 and received the holy ghost for the first time at Lucas Oil Stadium on the first night of NAYC.
