Sensitivity on console isn’t as much a big deal as some make it. I’m emerald V and play with the default. Maybe if I tweaked it I could move up a bit more but shit I’m cool with it
I played on super low sens and super high sens and did pretty well with both.
It's more important that you learn the sens you're using than to set "the perfect sens"
Varsity you’ve got to spend some hours warming up your sense on the tdm mode. With time you won’t need as much of a warm up to actually get warm. I wanna see you absolutely slamming kids and not just getting lucky recoil headshots.
I heard some guys in voice chat saying that mousetrap didn't affect them. I'm not sure if it's true, but I think it is.

I have my aim acceleration at 70-75 and the actual sens in the 40s for both vert and horizontal. Seems to do good for the fine adjustments and can turn on a dime still

What region/servers do you play on? Cause my console players are way more crazy and Im in bronze cause for some reason the enemies are 1000x better than my team
You have to get to gold before the smurfs are gone. It's really hard to do if you're solo. Some people are just plain lucky, so they're in plat lobbies when they shouldn't be.
I'm on PS5 using the Dualsense Edge and my sens is 100 Vert. 100 Hor. and 55 ADS. It took me a long time to get up that high but I'm use to it now and can't go back. I don't believe everyone uses a Xim but some people accuse me of using one. I think it's hard to tell sometimes
if anyone use Xim they are not good in siege Xim player's need a PC an actual PC to play on
I couldn't be bothered to plug and unplug MnK into a XiM over and over again to win a match in the last rounds. I don't know if that speaks to the lengths console cheaters are going to get an advantage, or just how lazy I am.

It’s not a xim, he just have way different ads sensitivity and that’s why it looks weird.
Changing sensitivities often should help you build up some muscle memory for controller. Make sure you're always aiming separately from your movement, or you'll plateau from that bad habit.

I played console ranked today after a few months of not playing and it’s not the same playerbase anymore. All soloque, too much roaming ops picked, can’t rely even a tiny bit on them, either really good or really bad and they don’t want to setup site anymore like reinforcing walls or bringing any utility for the team. Just so sad.
This is the reason why the nerfs should also be different for console players cause they always go towards pc players where controlling recoil is way easier than controller players this vid is a perfect example
console and pc have different recoil patterns its way easier to control recoil on console varsity is just bad lmao (no hate to varsity tho)
Idk about which platform uses xim more. But on apex legends the amount of PS chrohnos users is insane. Zero recoil with smg over huge distances. Its a huge problem and i wish there was a fix for these style cheats.
xbox player: i am a silver this season in siege and cant get out of it, played at end of last season, havent gotten a rank in 3 years but when i did i was usually gold or plat. i get placed against emeralds and diamonds, sometimes champs and they are usually xim users even after all the patches. point of this story is sieges new ranked system sucks and they suck at patching xim.

Don't solo q. It's not impossible to climb ranks solo q, i done that a few seasons ago and got to plat, but it's much easier having 4 friends there, doing strats, giving call outs and playing as a team. Most players who have good aim, game sense etc should hit plat.
But then again I don't blame you, there's so many xim smurfs in the lower elo. Was such a mission getting out of copper and bronze

Stop lying, you didn’t check the entire enemy team. If you did you would’ve seen that 2 of them were brand new to ranked with 3 games played with a 0.3 & 0.6 kd. Two hit plat in ranked 2.0 which you’ve expressed your opinion on how bad that is, they were actually silver & gold before 2.0 (negative kd too). Then your whole team was silver or gold. It was a mid silver to low gold lobby.

Let’s look at what rank these “plats” actually are.
Your team:
-ScreensFrmNF, bronze 0.5kd, lvl 61, never played before 2.0
-R6 brobie, gold 2, 0.8kd, lvl 146, never played before 2.0
-Aydan6642, gold 2, 0.9kd, lvl 143, silver 4/ high bronze before 2.0
-Goat polo, plat 3 (emerald 4 last season), 0.96kd, lvl 247, consistently plat for almost 2 years but before that went from 0.5kd silver, 0.7kd silver, 1kd gold 3, 1kd plat 1. That’s a big jump in rank & kd in a short time… haven’t watched yet but if he’s the xim accused I’d believe it.
So that’s one actual plat, one new gold, one silver that’s gold in 2.0 and one bronze.
The “plats” from the enemy team:
-Yumeko9957, copper 4, 0.55kd, lvl 101, looks like their first time playing since neon dawn where they were a high silver to low gold with 0.7kd.
-Lost RubyXV, silver 5, 0.55kd, lvl 176, previously plat 3 (gold 0) & high gold with negative kd & few games played.
-EvOkE Swizzz, gold 1, 1kd, lvl 222, recently silver, before almost 2 year break low plat/ high gold.
-vortex-KGF, gold 1, 1kd, lvl 297 with only 158 matches? (Maybe previously pc player on console for the first time? First season of ranked.
-MrThinkAlot, bronze 5, 1.1kd, lvl 93, only other recent season was gold 1 0.8kd with 12 matches (possible Smurf).
So we have a returning player after 2 years in copper, a silver/ gold, 2 golds one of which may be a pc player & a bronze that’s performing better than most in the lobby.

You definitely need to mess with the sens. You'll be surprised how easy it is over default. Turn on advanced settings and turn all the ramp up crap to zero. Turn OFF aim assist. 30 horizontal, 60 vertical, 35 ADS is a good baseline for most people. You can get it fine tuned from there in just one or two rounds.
Why would very be higher than horizontal? Usually you want that to be a lot slower. I play 72 horizontal and 22 vert

Compensator helps with horizontal recoil, flash hider is better for vertical.

He was a champ on pc thanks to ranked 2.0 (normally plat pushing diamond). Now he’s playing on console at around silver to gold skill level.
He’s bronze skill, carried champ on PC but his progress carried over.

It’s been a glitch where if you are viewing a kill cam or someone on your team it looks like they are leaning but they are just ADS and leaning. However I don’t think they got rid of XIM because I’ve have some flick and 100000 sensitivity players

It's a MnK adapter for consoles. Anyone using one will have a huge advantage over controller players. They also get the benefits of controller recoil while using MnK.
