As someone who’s been a fan since the beginning, from 2013, I started out with them right, grew up with them, I was 11 and now I’m 20, so I never got the experience of diving into their discography as developed as it is today, so I love to watch people joining the fandom and experiencing the joy of immersing themselves into the world of Army’s and BTS. Actually, that was Stage 1 for me. I hadn't even heard their songs yet, but I saw them on James Corden's Carpool Karaoke and literally wanted to know who was who, and that was it... My journey began from reading about them first, and then I started listening to their songs 😆

They say BTS finds you when you need them the most. Last February my dad stopped swallowing and it was time for him to leave us. For 3 weeks we went to the hospital to be by his side till he finally passed away. This song got me through that time. I would listen to it everyday and it would be a little pocket of joy in a tragic time in my life. It will always mean the world to me and im so grateful these 7 boys came into my life. ONLY RM is FLUENT in ENGLISH having taught himself by watching “FRIENDS” (his IQ 148), remember he’s the LEADER also, the middle of all of them age-wise. Only 2-3 of them are working diligently on their English. THIS FIRST GUY singled out is JIMIN: A MASTER OF DUALITY! Dynamite, Butter and Permission to dance were released to cheer up Armys during the pandemic when so many, even BTS, were feeling down. I can't think of another musical act to do that during covid. No shade to other artists I just can't think of any. I'm sure others released regular music but not anything meant to bring a smile

Written by Ed Sheeran and etc. Their korean songs are their strongpoint. They can't speak English only (1) member can. All english songs are "Feel Good" songs to help people recover from pandemic. (RM helped with writing Butter) I recommend rap songs for male fans. you should listen to Agust D/Suga - The Last. It is the most personal song of suga where he revealed that before he got into a car accident which destroyed his shoulder. You cannot get into BTS without listening to this. Note: BTS is the only kpop group not from YG, JYP, and SM (big entertainment companies from Korea) that is this successful. Big Hit Entertainment almost went bankrupt at one point and BTS members all lived in a single room (with 7 members) you can google BTS' old room and see how poor they were. Rags to riches. They deserve everything they've won.

Please just do a BTS channel! Yes. That is his voice! And yes, we get it. We all smile like you do. And millions of us feel that way. If you want after you watch the MV...watch a dance practice. Also, they have released different versions...different genres of the same song. Funk, jazzy, latin....it's fun to watch a live performance too. They recently filled Sofi stadium, 60,000 people each night for 4 nights. They did a live Dynamite. They had not performed live because of the pandemic. In fact, they never got to perform "On" for a live audience. Their world wide tour got cancelled. They grieved and we're really depressed. They said if they ever get to perform live again, they would perform "On" first. Since you have reacted to it ..go find their L.A. concert and watch them come alive with a concert. I did not know they did not perform ON until the PTD in LA. I'm not sure how that concert could get more special, but knowing this makes me SO happy that I was there. They led with ON.

BTS is better than any drug. The live concerts are beyond anything I've ever experienced! The energy when Army is all together...tens of thousands of them in one place, along with BTS, there is nothing else like it on the planet.

I grew up listening to pop music but also a lot of stuff like Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, System of a Down, NIN, etc., and I have never seen a band more hard working, talented, genuine and engaging as BTS. I know what you mean when you say they make you feel happy. But make no mistake, their heavier songs will make you curl up in a ball and sob with existential crisis. They're not just sunshine and rainbow. And that's what's so great about them. For every human emotion that exists, there is a BTS song for it. Your grandma just died? There's a song for that. You're feeling angsty against the system? There are tons of songs for that. You're depressed and just want to cry? There's a whole catalog for that. BTS is a one-stop-shop. I literally do not need to listen to anyone else.
BTS are just pure serotonin. Even though their music spans different genres and they also have many sad, sombre songs too. They have a way of touching you. And that's one reason they are the biggest group in the world. They just connect with people. I was actually surprised you liked this song so much because it's such a "pop" song. I'm sure you'll like "Butter" too. Maybe that should be your next song.
They came out with Dynamite near the beginning of the covid lockdowns. Some people say that it is fluff compared to a lot of their deeper songs. I think what they were trying to do was give us something to cheer us up. And it certainly has done that for me and apparently for you as well.
They said they did want to cheer everyone. They wanted to do light fun songs because life had been so hard on everybody. They wanted us to smile and feel happy!
This is the first BTS song I listened to. To be honest, I wasn't especially interested in the song. Yet two weeks later I was at the bowling alley and the song came on and I was like, "Dynamite, yeah!" And I started jumping up and down (for joy). About 5 months later I was driving back to my hometown because my mom had covid... I knew she wasn't going to make it. I listened to this song about 20 times in a row as I drove and for some reason felt at peace about what was going to happen. I was granted peace, that is the truth. So that's what I always think of when I hear this song. The other interesting thing to me is who initially stood out to me in this video and who didn't. So now I feel like, I am sorry I didn't notice you Tae or Jimin. And I especially didn't notice my little kitty, Suga!
DYNAMITE was THE summer song of 2020! It was the perfect song not only for summer but also to lift our spirits during the early days of the pandemic. There are several different versions of it, like the B-side, the behind the scenes, the dance practice, the MJ dance break, Various award show performances, it just goes on and on. And of course there is the great live version at the beginning of their TINY DESK concert, which you should definitely check out! I would also recommend turning on the subtitles for all their English songs as well as the Korean ones, just so you can tell exactly what they’re saying. You will also love BUTTER and PERMISSION TO DANCE, with all their myriad versions/performances. All their dance practices are also very much worth reacting to, as they show all the intricate choreography we don’t usually see in a music video. Keep up the good work! BTS really is my happyiness on dark days. I promise, there's nothing but good times and good friends ahead of you. They say BTS finds you when you need them the most. Last February my dad stopped swallowing and it was time for him to leave us. For 3 weeks we went to the hospital to be by his side till he finally passed away. This song got me through that time. I would listen to it everyday and it would be a little pocket of joy in a tragic time in my life. It will always mean the world to me and im so grateful these 7 boys came into my life. I’ve listened to SO many genres of music over the years. I’ve got to say that BTS blew my mind. Top notch quality, nods to the past with a modern feel. And the dancing!!! Only 2-3 of them are working diligently on their English. THIS FIRST GUY singled out is JIMIN: A MASTER OF DUALITY! Angelic voice, shy, sweet, loving, kind, utterly respectful and very demonstrative of his love for his brothers. When he performs, he is SENSUAL, TEASES, SEXY, OUT THERE! He is MY BIAS!
For solo songs i highly recommend the live performances of Lie and Serendipity for Jimin, Euphoria for JK, Singularity and Stigma for V, Epiphany for Jin.
Dynamite, Butter and Permission to dance were released to cheer up Armys during the pandemic when so many, even BTS, were feeling down. I can't think of another musical act to do that during covid. No shade to other artists I just can't think of any. I'm sure others released regular music but not anything meant to bring a smile

English Singles: Butter, Dynamite aren't composed by the members. Written by Ed Sheeran and etc. Their korean songs are their strongpoint. They can't speak English only (1) member can. All english songs are "Feel Good" songs to help people recover from pandemic. (RM helped with writing Butter)
I recommend rap songs for male fans. you should listen to Agust D/Suga - The Last. It is the most personal song of suga where he revealed that before he got into a car accident which destroyed his shoulder. You cannot get into BTS without listening to this.
Note: BTS is the only kpop group not from YG, JYP, and SM (big entertainment companies from Korea) that is this successful. Big Hit Entertainment almost went bankrupt at one point and BTS members all lived in a single room (with 7 members) you can google BTS' old room and see how poor they were. Rags to riches. They deserve everything they've won.
I highly recommend checking out their BTS Room Live Festa performance to get an idea of the diversity in their discography, as well as a medley live performance!

Please just do a BTS channel! Yes. That is his voice! And yes, we get it. We all smile like you do. And millions of us feel that way. If you want after you watch the MV...watch a dance practice. Also, they have released different versions...different genres of the same song. Funk, jazzy, latin....it's fun to watch a live performance too. They recently filled Sofi stadium, 60,000 people each night for 4 nights. They did a live Dynamite. They had not performed live because of the pandemic. In fact, they never got to perform "On" for a live audience. Their world wide tour got cancelled. They grieved and we're really depressed. They said if they ever get to perform live again, they would perform "On" first. Since you have reacted to it ..go find their L.A. concert and watch them come alive with a concert. I know what you mean when you say they make you feel happy. But make no mistake, their heavier songs will make you curl up in a ball and sob with existential crisis. They're not just sunshine and rainbow. And that's what's so great about them. For every human emotion that exists, there is a BTS song for it. Your grandma just died? There's a song for that. You're feeling angsty against the system? There are tons of songs for that. You're depressed and just want to cry? There's a whole catalog for that. BTS is a one-stop-shop. BTS are just pure serotonin. Even though their music spans different genres and they also have many sad, sombre songs too. They have a way of touching you. And that's one reason they are the biggest group in the world. They just connect with people. I was actually surprised you liked this song so much because it's such a "pop" song. They came out with Dynamite near the beginning of the covid lockdowns. Some people say that it is fluff compared to a lot of their deeper songs. I think what they were trying to do was give us something to cheer us up. And it certainly has done that for me and apparently for you as well.
They said they did want to cheer everyone. They wanted to do light fun songs because life had been so hard on everybody. They wanted us to smile and feel happy!
This is the first BTS song I listened to. To be honest, I wasn't especially interested in the song. Yet two weeks later I was at the bowling alley and the song came on and I was like, "Dynamite, yeah!" And I started jumping up and down (for joy). About 5 months later I was driving back to my hometown because my mom had covid... I knew she wasn't going to make it. I listened to this song about 20 times in a row as I drove and for some reason felt at peace about what was going to happen. I was granted peace, that is the truth. So that's what I always think of when I hear this song. The other interesting thing to me is who initially stood out to me in this video and who didn't. So now I feel like, I am sorry I didn't notice you Tae or Jimin. And I especially didn't notice my little kitty, Suga!
DYNAMITE was THE summer song of 2020! It was the perfect song not only for summer but also to lift our spirits during the early days of the pandemic. There are several different versions of it, like the B-side, the behind the scenes, the dance practice, the MJ dance break, Various award show performances, it just goes on and on. And of course there is the great live version at the beginning of their TINY DESK concert, which you should definitely check out!
I would also recommend turning on the subtitles for all their English songs as well as the Korean ones, just so you can tell exactly what they’re saying. You will also love BUTTER and PERMISSION TO DANCE, with all their myriad versions/performances. All their dance practices are also very much worth reacting to, as they show all the intricate choreography we don’t usually see in a music video.

BTS really is my happyiness on dark days. I promise, there's nothing but good times and good friends ahead of you. BTS literally has a song for anyone and everyone, and seeing the joy on your face while enjoying them makes me so happy. It's that reluctance of the general population to check them out, and write them off that makes me so sad, because they literally bring this type of joy to anyone that gives them a chance.
