Unfortunately, a person like me, who uses an Android smartphone to make talk videos, cannot avail one's self to all the terrific sounding microphones that are either USB or need external power.
So, we have to make
do with either wired mics (great sounding but inconvenient), or on-camera shotgun mics (mediocre sound but with no strings attached)!
Any absolutely genuine, confirmed suggestions?

I use a Vivo V2025 that will not support OTG mic connections. I can only use mics that connect with trrs pins.

You can explore CSLM20 or CSLM20B to connect with your smarphone & make some great recordings.
bro will it work on mobiles ?? xlr connect causes damage to mobiles n laptop cause of high output (phantom) ,n for that sound card like equipments are needed,heard like that..pl do guide me..
Hi there! The CSSM100 cannot be connected to mobile phones directly. Soundcard is required. E.g. IK Multimedia iRig Pre. Thank you.
