yeah, brandon yates and therewolf media really give it their all for these battles, but game over has to take the crown as the best death battle song ever in my opinion, i place it even higher than mighty, super and even dragon's dance, its that great
Eggman lost because he basically spent the entire fight focused ENTIRELY on bowser, ignoring his army, his strong guards(infinite,metal sonic, and sage) he saved as backup instead of allowing them to be on the frontline, which would’ve secured them a significant advantage. They all basically sat and waited till eggman needed them to jump in. Infinite just assumed his power would win the day, and it led to him being outclassed, though he did take out some of bowsers heavyhitters. Metal easily was the BEST and most accomplished fighter on eggmans side, taking out the biggest threats(king boo and kamek) and then moving onto bowser. Sage made a COLOSSAL mistake sticking by eggman as a bodyguard, her abilities could’ve easily turned the tides of the war after metal took out the magic supporters. Doesn’t help that most of eggmans best robots were destroyed when she finally did use them, leaving her with bad nicks, the bottom of the barrel. But eggman, his poor foresight was what really sealed his empires fate. The dude could’ve used the death egg at the beginning of the battle, against a base bowser, and might’ve won the battle instantly, but chose to save it as a last resort. He also never used any of his millions of warships ammo, which was a waste. It’s clear he didn’t have a backup plan or anything and just thought he’d win instantly, as once he was out of toys, he was yelling for his life.

Even if he went all out from the start and used the 7 Chaos Death Egg blast, it would just blow up the planet. Eggmans whole fleet would die alone with Bowsers... Base Metal Sonic isnt tanking that, so neither is Infinite or his whole fleet... Well except for the fact Bowser can survive in space in the Mario Galaxy games. And I suppose King Boo and the other Boos would too+ Any of the koopa armies using invincible stars. So he'd prolly be out there in Dry Bowser form and blow up the death egg with brute force or turn it into stone, leaving Sage with zero tech to fight with. The winner would still be Bowser. And even if bro went out of character, we would have to say Bowser would play out of character too and just go Dreamy Bowser or Fury form+ Grand Star off the bat. Same result.

It’s kinda similar to movie robotnik with the emerald, but dreamy bowser can just conjure up whole things, unlike movie robotnik who even with the emerald had to take down trains and stuff to build his death egg robot. And it has the added ability of literally wishing people out of existence, which could destroy the sonic verse. Also I don’t think the ruby can warp reality itself, even the real one. It warps perception, how you see reality, and besides king boo or kamek could counter that

There were four times Bowser put his minions before himself, first he protected them against Infinite's power, then he cured them from the metal virus, then he got enraged when Bowser Jr. got hurt, and lastly, when Eggman sent the blast of the death egg, Bowser put himself at the front of his army to take the blast himself. Bowser does care and thats what makes his army so loyal, unlike Eggman's that he had some rouge robots before, robots that were PROGRAMMED TO OBEY HIM.

And Among Us Vs Fall Guys is one of those 2D Matchups. However, that matchup was lost in place of Bill Cipher Vs Discord(Gravity Falls Vs My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic) for the 2D Matchup for Season 10. But to see this actually becoming an actual Death Battle episode after 2 years is wild.
One thing I noticed on a rewatch was that the Death Egg Robot was a combination of the Movie and Game version. It had the overall build of the movie whilst having the hands and color scheme of the games.
I guess if there’s one good thing about this, although it is a major setback it doesn’t really matter which side wins because technically speaking both could just come back thanks to time travel, revives and other crazy stuff.

Im mainly upset with death battle for not including metal overlord which is neo metals strongest form that he used even while serving under eggman and it took 9 chaos powered characters to beat him which is stronger than super neo metal i think if eggman planned ahead and neo went overlord i think they couldve won or atleast lasted longer but bowser just had more resources in the end tbh
The animation itself was great and I loved it but I don't like how Eggman just loses 80% of his arsenal, they got rid of all the major badniks, Metal Overlord Metal Sonic, no master emerald for eggman, no Lightman Super Eggman (which would've gave him the win), they didn't do anything with the egg fleet besides have it die. Like they removed ALL of Infinite's powers basically. This seems like another Omni-Man vs Bardock episode where the arsenal given is clearly one sided.

Death Battle gives characters things that they have access to without prep-time, and they even broke that rule to show it would still be countered.
Honestly, for the animation, I doubt they'd be able to show everything both sides had (also I mean, technically, the egg fleet was off screen battling Bowser's airship armada - most probably). Also, about the Master Emerald, I'm not sure if that really counts as standard Eggman arsenal. I'm fairly certain that, that's something Knuckles guards tooth and nail now-a-days, outside of that one time he stole it. I don't think he regularly has access to it.

I’ll admit I don’t know nearly as much about the Mario verse then I do sonic but it does seem like they ignored a lot of different ways of scaling sonic it seems as though they only really care when it’s Archie But I do think it’s nice that they showed some alternate scenarios that could’ve played out

Bowser realistically would have no real counter to super neo and Infinite and then there's also the fact Eggman didn't have the master emerald either. Eggman should have had way more at his disposal that kind of just got swept under the rug in favor of having bowser just being invulnerable the entire fight while eggman kind of just sits around and does nothing until he loses. Some examples include: Master Emerald (mentioned earlier) Chaos (would've literally solo'd) Metal Overlord Metal Sonic (would've literally solo'd) Literally every single mind control machine he's ever created And the biggest of them all was Lightman which is Eggman's Super form which would've made him not only invulnerable but comparable to modern super sonic which has defeated stuff like solaris, time eater, etc. Bowser does not win without all of these nerfs to Eggman and his arsenal.
