I'm his fan too, but today Shunshuke is just too predictable for Truls
Very true. Both are fantastic players. Although shogami gave away some easy points in 2nd and 3rd games..or to put it other way- Truls actually fooled him with very easy points..like forcing Shogami to play rallies keeping ball in the center of table or rallies with long and loop top spins..

truls backhand opening is such a big weakness
Do you mean togami's weakness? Truls wins a lot of points with his backhand opening. Mostly because he has lots of variations.
no man he does this slow empty BH loop on purpose,
youngsters like Togami are super fast and strong in BH rallies thats why Truls has to slow it down and make it uncomfy for him to have a chance there
The backhand-opening often puts Truls in an awkward situation. Thats the difference between him and the absolute World-top.
i miss the talented japanese like koki niwa or mizutani, this generation now is just all the same good technic.
