There doesn't need to be a "Working Title", just call it Octopath Traveler. Catchy, memorable, rolls off the tongue. Don't make it something stupid like, "Path of the 8 Wanderers" or something.
"Working title" means that they are still working on making the name of the product, and the name given is a placeholder until they do. For instance, "Kirby" was the working title for "Kirby Star Allies" during E3 before it got it's official name.
I don't think the name fits what they're attempting to create with this game. Yeah I understand the 8 paths. But the name is too generic. It gives me a Stardew Valley vibe. I think they're trying to really recapture epic rpg's from the SNES day's and many of them are memorable with epic titles.
We have a hit or miss final fantasy series, (basically when it's high, it's WAAAAYYY up there) and a beautiful Bravely series. this is going to be amazing... Too bad I don't have a switch
With the expansions into the mobile area, Square Enix is a company that you have to keep a closer eye on now. Not every game they put out now is must have in my book, but they still put out gems that shouldn't be overlooked.

Square-Enix is technically third-party but they have a studio division that is focusing on Switch-exclusive stuff (so kind of like a 2nd-party subsidiary).

Well remember before Nintendo changed the name of the Switch to the Switch. It was called NX. Everyone got used to it. When we heard they changed it to Switch it was a little off putting at first but now it just fits perfectly with the system. Plus, I think they're looking for a more epic name to fit the game since Octopath Traveler feels like a Stardew Valley name at least in my opinion.

Pyrex I don't care about any of those games. I don't like RockStar games in general. GOW games aren't great action games. I'd much rather play Bayonetta or Nier. TLOU is one of the most overrated games of all time. The gameplay sucks (you can't really argue that I think) and the story, which is pretty good, had some 'meh' moments. I don't like post-apocalyptic worlds in general, either. There are only 'three' games on the PS4 I'm looking forward to. Death Stranding, Ni No Kuni II (I'm not sure about the new combat system, though) and (hopefully) Bloodborne 2.
I'm still amazed that this is Nishiki's first real "big" soundtrack. This guy's incredible! I'm extremely excited for this game. Everything seems like a callback to the earlier FF games. Pretty sure this is what people wanted out of FF15.

To the developer ( I guess) of this wonderful masterpiece! Let me start off. I can't say I've ever wanted to reach out and personally give a development team a hug before, but this game blew me away!!! Lately we've all become accustomed to the garbage that keeps getting thrown out on a yearly conveyer belt, automated and monetized trash that just never works or feels like intended. This game hit different parts of me all at the same time. The sensation right off the bat was amazing and refreshing. I know the formula is nothing new, Final Fantasy 7 is and was my number one game of all time so I'm very familiar with the playstyle. The storyline was engaging and made you feel! The battle system was intuitive but yet simple. But where did those times go? I'm pushing late 30's and the only well developed piece of gaming mastery to even tickle my number one spot has now arrived gloriously! It takes me back in ways you can't imagine. I was the child that sat there in my room, ignored playing outside as best I could and savoured the world of video games and epic stories. Fiction and fantasy was my thing. This game has it all, so many good stories, 8 of them! The diversity between the playstyles and ability to mix things up is incredible. And what of the soundtrack? 10/10. I didn't really have a top 3 for soundtracks before being hit with this game, but rest assured it's now number one. It's hard to listen to the soundtrack without feeling the urge to play again. I've played through 3 times in just under 18 months and it's too fresh in my mind to start a new playthrough. I can't wait until the memory fades so I can start again. Just me, my favourite drink and the world of Orsterra. Thank you so much for this great game. Sometimes you lose hope, but along comes something you didn't even know you was waiting for. From one RPG/JRPG fan to another, I CANT WAIT to see more from this! I urge everyone to give this game a shot. Bring your mum, your dad, your brothers sisters friends dogs and hamsters. It's a game for everyone, and that's how it should be!
Came to see more of Yasunori after beating the game for second time, the ending theme just breaks me really hard in the last segment. The game, the soundtracks and the travelers, everything is just so great, this game has a unique place in my heart and i'm really glad i found this title just wandering in internet back then in 2019. Probably changed my life, i just wanna give a hug to Yasunori. The work he made is just amazing!
