What about making smoothies at home and put greek yogurt in it, you could also put protein powder in it. Just a thought for ideas for more ways to get them to get protein in them
Loved watching the shop with me then the shopping haul. I think you done really well especially with how much the prices on things are now. Most of it will last more then a week so if you think about it you have saved as when you go shopping next you want need to gets snacks or if you need to top up on snacks you want need as many as what you got in this shop. I find it so hard to get shopping under £100 per week for my family of 5, where as before prices got expensive I could do a full weeks shopping for under £100 xx
Same here, I used to be able to predict almost to the £ how much my food shop would cost, now it's anyone's guess! 🤣😭 You're right, some of these snacks will last more than a week (hopefully!) Xx
I make a cookie dough dip out of a tin of chick peas. The recipe is on Chocolate Covered Katie if you’re interested. My picky son loved it when young. Took him 18 years to eat even one vegetable. 😂
Great haul! To me that's great value, but I guess that's because of our prices. The equivalent oil would be approx $15-$20 here, the washing powder around $20 on sale (Aldi is cheaper though) and pads/liners $5-$7 plus unless on sale!!
Very nice. The hot and spicy chicken breast slices look good! Maybe in a wrap with lettuce and mayo and cucumber yum. I think you got heaps for the amount you spent!
Great haul Claire 🤗🤗 ur shop with me was great too …… hope u have a great Friday love Claire from Bradford xx Ps u got a lot for ur money but I can’t get on with Aldi I tend to go Morrisons and Asda and Lidl on a rare occasion xx Plus my nephew is 14 and as got celiac disease it’s currently £2.60 for a 12” margarita 🙀🙀🙀
So I've watched a couple of these videos now and you seem to be quite concerned about price but then follow hello fresh which is not value for money at all????
We've only just started Hello Fresh to see if it will help get the cost of our weekly shops down going forward. We wanted to see if it would encourage the children to try new things, and we wanted to try itnfor ourselves, so the price of it is worth it if it means the children try some new things (in our opinion anyway). We're not doing it every week, as it is quite expensive, but I also run 2 businesses and a household, so not having to think about a meal plan all the time takes a load off 😊 as with anything, it will take some trial and error 😀 x
I had to laugh honeybee u r getting hello fresh meals so u would reduce the price of your food shop. Oh no nothing like spending tge normal food budget and then blowing it a bit more lol.... best laid plans . Only joking you did well for the price. It just goes to prove the actual foods to make tge main meal of the day are no what blows the budget its all the extras yohurts snacks fruit drinks and household good news is that those bits will last a few weeks. That said i always found the more snacks i bought in a shop to stock up when on offer they just eat more so ibstead of one choc biscuit they would take 2 so it really was a false economy . I think i would have been better off buying a lock for the treat cupboard !! Now they are adulting they all have different preferences and i buy the basics and they generally buy the rest so each of the girls have a shelve each in the fridge and a store cupboard off course they are free to use my stuff but omg what a difference of foods they eat. The eldest rarely cooks so its all airfrying or being microwaved and energy drinks. the youngest lives on dry cereal biscuits crisps eggs cheese toast cups of tea and coffee and hot choclate whilst the middle one cooks from scratch has a cupboard full of spices marinades and rubs and will eat anything and everything from snails to steak to duck and everything in between . Like i say she was my fussy one who lived solely on bland chicken nuggests and chips for every meal from the age of 2 till 14 then she went to spain and being all inclusive she experimented during that week and has never looked back px
I enjoyed the haul and would definitely be looking out for the sliced garlic bread...it's a brilliant idea😊

Oh good! They must have been out of stock when I went x

Aldi is getting more expensive. Each week prices change
It's crazy! x
Apples shouldn’t really be in fridge, onions tomatoes and definitely not egg because they are absorb bacteria x x x x
We don't like apples if they're left on the side, I find they go soft and then the kids don't like them. Our eggs are kept on the side in a bowl 🙂 xx
Great shop , just booked my Ocado delivery slot for 20/12 , crazy 🤪
Got that booked early! Well done! Xx
Great haul xx
Thank you! 😊 xx
Enjoyed the shop with me then the haul 👍
Glad you enjoyed them xx
