"Passing Through The Valley Of Baca" Psalm 84

DOES THE NAME J.C. PHILPOT MEAN ANYTHING TO YOU? Perhaps so ... perhaps not! Well, church historians tell us that J.C. Philpot seceded from the Church of England in 1835 for conscience's sake and subsequently penned a devotional volume entitled, "THROUGH BACA'S VALE", based upon the text of Psalm 84:6. Interestingly enough, the Sacred Psalmist in Psalm 84 challenges us to examine ourselves concerning THREE KEY AREAS OF LIFE if we, too, desire to be found successfully passing through all of the hurts and heartaches, sorrows and sufferings, trials and tribulations of life until we arrive safely at our eternal home in heaven by God's grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone!
