    Got it right. Pretty easily actually. The BTC in 2003-2007 immediately eliminated the guy on the far right. Tripping up on the 6-plex eliminated that guy. My family works in the oil business is way too broad to guarantee any millionaire status, eliminated. Fashion designer didn't seem like he was serious/mature enough to be a millionaire, much like the bitcoin guy. Fun fact, teachers are one of the top occupations that lead to millionaire status over a life time. Slow, consistent investing month after month, year after year.

    • @GodHandFemto
      @GodHandFemto ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I'm very surprised by that. I've always heard that teachers were significantly underpaid in North America compared to average jobs in the same degree.

      @@GodHandFemto they’re very underpaid. But if he’s a professor with tenure he might be pretty well off. Also if he started teaching years ago he’s actually more well off than people whom are just starting teaching.

    • @samanthatheminimalist
      @samanthatheminimalist ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I think the missing key here is that he is a professor, not a teacher. Teachers in the US ( k-12) do not make good money, the only way to get more is more education and then you make 85k a year with massive student loan debt and can never get ahead. Professors (college & uni) in their early years do even worse than teachers but can make good money after they are tenured and also depending on what kind of professor.

    • @Ndasuunye
      @Ndasuunye ปีที่แล้ว +1

      that teacher statistic must be either super concentrated on particular types of teachers or the trope is dying fast. Most teachers in america don't get paid enough to save up to become a millionaire.

    When I became wealthy I was much more conscientious of what I was spending , I went to consignment stores for clothes , I spent to improve my property instead of sneakers , vehicle etc.
    When you are financially educated you do alot less dumb stuff.
    You pay off your cards each month, you cancel recurring subscriptions, you get rid of cable companies .

    Small observation: American first class is called business class in Europe. Only a few European carriers hold on to the first class product for sentimental reasons as they just can’t make a profit on that service.
    Long haul business class (huge seats than go flat and a la carte menus) class is usually pretty good and waaaaay better than US “first class”.

      Pensions worked for many millionaires. If your job doesn’t have those, you can manage your own retirement funds (with a diverse portfolio). The key is to max out your contributions and let it grow slow and steady for decades (roughly 7-10% per year). That is how many everyday people with regular professions (like teachers and accountants) do it.
      The younger you start, the better.
      I suggest reading the book The Latte Factor by David Bach for starter insight
