So nice to listen to your calm voice and watch the lovely wee robin feeding from your hand. These videos are very therapeutic.
I have just started feeding a little Robin in our woods ....And he knows who i am and what time i will be there. it is beautiful .

I've taken a lot of advice from bill tv,books,magazines,you tube,no better man to learn from abundance of knowledge,if you want to learn just read or watch bill .
Took BIlls advise ref feeding got loads of different birds feeding and enjoy watching them, saved a Robin from cat that cornered it in greenhouse whilst the Robin was catching ants. Picked up Robin and released him and the Robin been with us hanging round garden ever since. That was in August its Feb now and Robin waits in bushes when I go out hes there not 3 feet away making little noises he then comes onto the feeder whilst I put the meal worm and seed mix onto thr tray. Still trying to hand feed him but he only takes it from the tray even though I am right beside him. Its magic.

We would recommend just putting out enough food for a day, and take it away overnight. Hopefully this would help to deter rats.
